Excellent pens, frequently stolen. I love them. I don’t share.
When I was naught but a young lady in 2008, before I knew what path lay before me, I stole a a pen, one of these, from the desk of a timid, mild-mannered coworker. It has haunted me ever since. I used to write voraciously, never caring which utensil my fingers grasped, now, I cannot bear to place a pen to paper if I am not in possession of one of these. I yearn for these pens. They are the only pen, so perfectly crafted, that I shall ever use again. Any other pen pales in comparison, leaves my soul aching, and lusting for the smooth, crisp lettering these pens provide. The vibrant colours, the flawless finish, and the elegant handling of these pens have propelled me forward in my career, pushing me to new heights and with them by my side I face inter-office glory! But lo, they vanish, they are stolen from me, their small bodies ripped from my desk by wanton thieves leaving me lost, searching again for something to aid me, something to satisfy my needs. Nothing else will do, no other pen will ever come so close to perfection as these.

Can I have some ink now?
Pretty sure these have much less ink in them than normal Pilot v5 pens. They omit that window that let's you see the ink level under the auspices of a graphic. That is why they're cheaper. Anything to rip consumers off.

Better than Uni-Ball Vision Needle Micro Point but not better ...
Better than Uni-Ball Vision Needle Micro Point but not better than the Pilot V5 Hi-tecpoint RT. Compared to the Uni-Ball Vision Needle Micro, the Pilot Precise V5 is finer and doesn't bleed as much. However, the Pilot Precise V5 is not very comfortable to hold and the inkflow changes from when you first start using it to maybe after a paragraph or two of writing where the inkflow becomes heavier and the line isn't as fine as it should be and it starts bleeding through 70 gsm paper. It does have much more ink in the reservoir than the RT but I will be sticking to the RT in the future because the inkflow and thickness of the line is more consistent and there is no bleedthrough on 70 gsm. I bought the Precise because I thought it would save me more money but now that I've tried it, I'd rather spend more money on the quickly-used-up refills for the RT because of the RT's superior quality.

It scratches the paper, not smooth at all.
I decided to use Pilot this time as I was using Pentel in the past just for change. It was a drastic change. As some reviewers noted, this fine tip scratches the paper and there is a lot of friction. It makes writing feel like some kind of mini war with the paper and the paper cries all the time because it gets hurt. Returning it and switching back to Pentel.

Let your frustration be free again.
We all have struggled at times in our life so why make writing one of them? If you the type that likes to sign million signatures or perhaps you're writing a book or even writing music lyrics there's nothing worse than when the pen runs out of ink because you it frustrates the hell out of most people. And I know it frustrates me. If you want constant flow without the worry and knowing went to throw it out.
