A stripper pole for your desk!
I'm more of a "set it and forget it" type of person when it comes to my monitor, so I was looking at these types of arm mounts instead of the fully adjustable ones. I use it on my standing desk clamped to a 1.25" piece of hardwood. I use this to hold up my 27" dell 4k monitor. The pictures of the mount don't look like much but it's burly and high quality in person.Height: What I liked most is the pole is a couple inches taller than the others at 18" high. I'm tall and looking down at a monitor gives me neck pain. I have the arm at the very top of the pole and its sturdy.Setup: Easy to do solo. There is a channel that lets you drop in the VESA mount so you can easily take the monitor on/off in between adjustments. I use my monitor as a USB hub so I have a ton of wires going back and forth and I was able to fit it all into the wire management system. The clamp is beastly and I there was no need to drill a hole into my nice hardwood top. There is a thin layer of padding on the inside of the clamp that sits on the top of the desk. I would've liked the piece that contacts the bottom of the desk to have this padding also.Sturdiness: Initially there was some acceptable shakiness with the monitor but after I tightened down all the bolts again there was much less wobble. There is movement only when I'm adjusting the height of my sit/stand desk and when I really bump into the desk.Adjustability: There is actually some movement you can do with this stand. You can rotate the monitor from side to side. You can also maneuver the arm, even after you've tightened the bolts down. You CANNOT adjust the height or tilt of the monitor once it's locked in.

Extremely well built, well designed monitor arm at great price!
This thing is incredibly sturdy, well made, has every part you need, including allen wrenches and options to mount through a grommet or via clamp.I have to admit to some surprise at how well the item was packaged and the parts perfectly organized by group. The parts needed for each step were in their own sealed section of the plastic bag. I've gotten mounting arms, wire racks (wiretech/metrotech style) and other desk accessories that were less well built and more poorly thought out for twice the price!A few notes, the pole is fairly thick, thicker than most segmented pipes (again wiretech/metrotech) so the arm grip, which slides down from the top won't fit on those poles. The length is such that the monitor will be at eye height/normal monitor height. However, the C-Clamp jaw is huge and strong and I clamped it to a sturdy stand with a couple books in the jaw as well and got it above my other monitors (I'd originally thought to clamp it to a wiretech/metrotech pole I had).My take-way is that this is arm is very sturdy, well built from quality materials, with easy to understand and grammatically correct instructions. (Can't understate how rare good instructions are in such products)

Decent, but not amazing
Given the multiple cardboard boxes holding all of the different pieces together, you would think that it would have been protected from damage in shipping. Unfortunately for me, some of the pieces have some reasonably large scratches and dings. Not bad enough to deal with the headache of a return, but bad enough to be grumpy.I also am a little grumpy that the Amazon listing says it has a 22 pound weight capacity, but the box and assembly instructions clearly say 19.8 pounds. I can say that many of the components feel more than strong enough, but you do have to be ready to really torque down some of the fasteners so that things hold in place where you want them.It does the job I need it to do, and that is good enough for the $30 price tag.

Does its job well
I've used a similar monitor arm before, but in this case, I needed one that was vertical for a tight fit in a corner. This fit the bill perfectly, was easy to assemble, and has held the monitor perfectly so far. You will need a Philips head screwdriver for one screw, but otherwise, it's all assemblable with the provided Allen wrenches. Unlike some I've used in the past, this actually stays where I put it even with infrequent adjustments.

Worth Every Penny!
Bought this mount to use with a new Pixio 32" monitor. The mount arrived in to days and as soon as I opened it I knew this mount was beefy enough to handle a 32" monitor and I wasn't wrong! Installation couldn't be easier, they provide the parts to either campt it to a surface or drill a dole and permanently mount the arm. I have the arm of the mount almost fully suspended out and it barely know the monitor is attached, it is easily adjustable and can all the joints and tilt functions can be tightened to meet any users requirements. For the 34 dollars I paid for this I think it's a steal
