I bought this air mattress mostly for a camping trip I take each summer, since I was sick of cramming a mattress "pad" and my dogs bed together in the back of my truck. Going from my old setup to this, was like making the switch from a sleeping bag on a concrete floor, to a new sealy mattress. I had been using the old setup for ~5 years, for so many trips, campouts, overnights, etc...and I'm NEVER going back! First, let me say I chose to take the risk, and bought the open box option for $99...figuring I would just return it if it didn't work out. The box was NOT opened, it was simply scuffed from warehouse handling, and the mattress was NOT affected in any way. The damage to the box was very light and inconsequential. Mattress was brand new. Immediately upon receiving it, I inflated it full, and placed a 100lb object on it for a couple nights, to be SURE it held air before trusting it as my only bed for a week. Held air like a champ. No issues whatsoever. So I took it on my trip. I used this air mattress for a full week, for myself @ ~160lbs and my dog @ 80lbs. It did NOT need to be adjusted or reinflated once! Yes, I did lay a few protective blankets down between the sheet and mattress so the dogs claws wouldn't be an issue, and they weren't! I am using this in a 2010 F150 with 6.5ft bed (and cap), and it fit very nicely leaving a little space at the tailgate end for shoes, bags, etc. It also left a little space on 1 side when pushed up against the other side over the wheelwell, so I stuffed a backpack under the open wheelwell spot, and used the empty side space for bags, food, etc space. One night my dog had stretched across the whole bed, and while sleeping I managed to let her push me up against the side of the truck...I was laying directly on top of the wheelwell and had NO idea...didn't even feel it under me! This mattress is very durable, very comfortable, and very easy to set up. I didn't have an issue with the inflator cord length, since I have a batt pack that I plugged into, so I don't know as far as whether it would reach my lighter plug or not. It did fit my 6.5ft F150 bed with room to spare on both the side and the bottom, at the tailgate. I was a little worried based on several bad reviews, but after my experience I suspect those bad reviews are being left by competing companies with inferior products...I would really bet money that's what's actually going on. After ordering this open box option, saving $100 and still getting a brand new, sealed box mattress, I could NOT be happier with this product. It came with the corded inflator, and a patch kit. I would absolutely encourage anyone on the fence to go with this product. Very well made, tough, easy to use, comfortable, etc. I expect to have and use this for many years to come. SO glad I didn't go with a cheaper chinese imitation one! Oh, and someone said it's hard to fit into the carry bag? Not even a little. After deflating for the first time after testing it, I was able to easily slip it back into it's carry bag the first try, with no issues whatsoever. I don't know if other reviewers are just nitpicky, and NEED something negative to whine about, or if they are simply trying to redirect you towards their cheaper china made garbage options...but for the money I have absolutely ZERO complaints. I had an awesome time camping, with my truck backed up to the edge of a lake, just laying with my pup on this mattress right there by the water, it was great! My dog REALLY loved the upgrade too! No comparison honestly. If you are unsure whether to go with this or the $60 china crap option, I would 100% buy this again, I would happily pay the $189 full price for another. There is still something to be said for "made in the USA", and this product proves that. I would strongly advise going with this option, if for nothing else just for the peace of mind of knowing you have a quality bed. Eventually maybe I'll spring for the upgrade, the $300 one...because these guys have got me as a loyal customer. Hope this was helpful for anyone struggling with options, and wondering whether it's worth the extra few bucks. These guys make a solid, high quality air mattress. The bad reviews, in my opinion, are a crock of...

I purchased this bed before going on a road trip to a horse show. My mom and daughter and I all loaded up the truck and arrived at 3 am to our destination. It was freezing outside and I still had to get the mattress out of the box, blow it up and set up for the night. ***IT WAS SUPER EASY! I just plugged in the pump and put it through the truck topper window and inflated it while in the back. There are 3 parts to the hole for inflation. The first is just the hole but the second is a filter hole, so the air pumps into it, a little flap opens for the air to go in, but then the air doesn't come out. This makes it easy to take a break, or if you hand might not be positioned perfectly and you won't lose the air that you already pumped into the bed. Then the outside cover seals it complete. A really great design! ***PERFECT FIT! We have a 7ft box, and we not only have the wheel wells, but one side goes up a little farther just before the wheel well. I was expecting it to be a problem but it fit perfectly on both sides (with and without that bump)! It was flush against the sides all the way around except maybe 1/2 inch by the tailgate which was no problem since our feet were on that end. By the head and on sides was completely perfect. ***IT'S LIKE A REAL BED- It is SO comfortable I was completely blown away!!! I am used to the air mattresses where it's hard to move around because they sink in a little, one side goes up farther than the other (especially when I as adult am sleeping with my 5 year old), but this bed stayed firm yet comfortable the whole time. Ultimately my mom, my 5 year old and 3 golden retrievers slept on this mattress and had THE BEST EVER sleep on an air mattress! I would recommend to anyone & everyone! *(Will update with photos shortly!)

Perfect fit in the 6.7ft bed of my Ram 2500 & pretty comfy if you ask me. Nice, thick material. We laid a fuzzy blanket underneath ours when we were using it because we a have spray in bed liner that feels like it may poke holes in it... but with the blanket under it, we had no issues. Our 40lp dog was also sharing the bed with us and her nails didn't do any damage either.

Tested this out over two night. Fit my truck perfectly, pumps up quick and holds are well. Very pleased would buy again.

This fits the bed of my 2016 Chevy 2500 HD 6.9 foot bed. It is very durable material and Abi walked all over it with no issues. Had a hard time getting her to get off as she Laid down and was quit comfortable. Comes with a compressor for inflating. Plugs into the lighter and has a long cord that easily reached the back of my truck. Took about 90 seconds to fully inflate. Take down was simple as the compressor has a reverse air flow function to suck out the air. Took me 3 minutes to deflate, fold, and put back in the carry bag. Comes with a small patch kit just in case cut but can't imagine puncturing the heavy gage material. Love that it fits around and over the wheel wells giving you side to side coverage. Definatley Abi approved.

I got this for a 05 Dodge Ram 1500 6ft bed truck, and it fit perfectly. I put a moving blanket under it, just to make sure not to puncture it with anything. We aired it up with a 12v air-pump, and put it in the bed, and it fit like a glove. My granddaughter slept on it when we went camping/fishing and they enjoyed it very much. The first night it seemed to lose some air, but I think because it was brand new and maybe stretched out a little, but after a quick air up to firm it up, it had no issues the rest of the couple days we were there. I have no problem recommending this to anyone who needs a mattress for the bed of their truck.

This is perfect. Fit our Chevy Silverado perfectly allowing us to fully utilize our trunk bed, so easy to set up. Retained air from the full day/night we needed it for. It took some time to figure out how to deflate though.

The mattress itself seems decent in quality, but the built-in pump is very slow and makes inflating the bed a time-consuming process. It also fits a little too loosely in my truck bed, which causes it to slide around more than I expected. Overall, it's an okay product, but the pump and fit issues made it disappointing for my needs.
