kraft-tex Roll Natural Original Unwashed: Kraft Paper Fabric, 19" x 1.5 Yard Roll (kraft-tex Basic)

This product is perfect for my needs! I run a sewing business and use this to create product labels for my brand. I print with my HP ink jet (pigment ink does not wash out) and cut them out myself. This saves a ton of money over buying pre-made labels from a vendor. Things to know: 1) I pre-wash in warm water and dry partly in the dryer. I finish drying with an iron. IT DOES SHRINK! I know everyone says it does not shrink, but each time I wash my 8.5" x 11" pieces they end up closer to 8" x 10.5". Just beware! 2) If you have trouble feeding it through your printer, try pre-washing it. This softens the product making it easier for the printer to feed. Pre-washing made all the difference for me! Also, if you want maximum leather-look, crumple, crumple, crumple before you wash and again before you dry! I love the look and so do my customers!

this stuff is amazing. A single layer of this, with some craftiness, makes a great thin-vegan-leather-feeling "everbook"/binder/folder

Very versatile

I made a bag on my home machine which couldn't handle leather and suddenly I'm back in bag mode. You can best this stuff up. Dye it. Sandpaper it. Whatever. One note - Keep your stitches far enough apart to prevent the Kraft-tex from being compromised. Love love this stuff.

Love this product. Been using specifically to create folios to house pictures (a la scrapbook style) and I can tell these will be far more durable then what I've created in the past. Very easy to work with - must use glue instead of double-sided tape, but everything else works beautifully - paints, pens, gelatos, inks. Would definitely recommend. Much more economical in the bolt if you're doing a lot of crafting.

created a bag and used this as the top band and straps. It was easy to sew through but it is so stiff I would seriously think about doing this again as the stitching was so misshapen by this product not being very flexible that I glued a ribbon over the exposed stitching on the band and called it a design feature. I read the project and have no idea how they were able to turn and bend and sew a messenger bag. I am waiting to see how this wears, but I already have other uses in mind for this product.

I don't know if I should refer to it as paper or fabric, but it is great. Cuts easily. Sews easily. Be sure to glue your seam before sewing.

Ich liebe Kraft-Tex, besonders für Journal-Einbände. Leicht zu bedrucken, bemalen, bekleben und zu nähen und dann auch noch wirklich haltbar. Ich wünschte, über Amazon liessen sich weitere Farben bestellen.

Strong, Flexible & Durable. A Joy to work with & makes fantastic Covers for Journals/Junk Journals that are built to last. Very easy to alter with Distress Stains/Sprays/Paints/Inks etc or distress/varnish/decoupage etc. Bought this on Amazon Prime for a good price when You take the speedy free delivery into account but I was appalled at the excessive & ridiculous amount of packaging used by Amazon to send this. I could literally almost stand up inside the box it came in! This was through no fault of Kraft-Tex but I wanted to urge others to leave feedback about this to Amazon as it is so bad for the Planet & Wildlife if sent to People who don't Recycle. I also urge Everyone to Recycle especially plastic such as bubble wrap. It's one of the Number 1 Killers of all Marine Life including Dolphins & Turtles.

Order arrived quickly and in perfect condition. This Kraft-tex stuff is amazing. I love it. I used it to make a hardcover book. I printed the cover picture on the Kraft-tex with my laser printer. Then I wadded it all up and ironed it back out, and it looks like a nice, crinkled leather. I glued it to some chipboard for stiffness, and the book looks great. It much cooler looking than any of the scrapbooking paper I've tried.
