This kit is a good kit to get started with. The soldering iron and stand are well made and work well, the sponge is a less than to be desired but over is still good starter item. The extra soldering tips is a good assortment and gives you the basics of what you will need to get started. The included solder is also good to get started with. The de-soldering pump works well also. The included tools also fit the needs to get you started.Pros: Good price solid quality for the price paid.Cons: storage bag not the best for what you get.

Great quality for the price! The iron heats up fast. The grip is well isolated, the grip never heats up even after hours of use.Tips are good quality, I only wish they'd have been a bit more varied.The solder sucker is GREAT, works very well pulling that solder leaving very clean leads.The accompanying tools are OK, a bit on the cheapy side but practical and useful.The cleaning sponge is pretty much a useless paper thin wafer.I would have given this product 5 stars had it not been for the cheap tool set, unvaried tips and useless cleaning sponge.It does get the job done, and done well though.

The product design is deceptive. The knob on the control box has temperature markings as though this is a temperature-regulating soldering iron. It is not. The control box is essentially a lamp dimmer. There is no temperature feedback from the iron, so the box will continue providing the same amount of power to the iron no matter what the temperature of the iron is. Temperature regulation is a very important feature that sets professional grade irons apart from hardware store wood-burner type irons. It lets the iron have a very powerful heater to handle large items that soak up a lot of heat, while not overheating and damaging small items.I bought this set along with the similar Ragnaros-brand set with the intention of comparing them. The Ragnaros iron has temperature regulation, the Jajaplus iron does not... Game, set, match.

I'm very disappointed in this unit. I was super excited to get it and even did an unboxing video for YouTube but as I was soldering a potentiometer onto an oscilloscope I started getting shocked every time the iron touched the solder.

I have used this iron several times now. Came with everything needed to do the small jobs it’s designed to do. It does a great job with the adjustable heat range and variety of tips. Nice little stand, good quality and I have used it on about 12 projects since I. Received it without any issues. Well worth the money.

This soldering iron is great. I have used many soldering irons of varying quality in my professional career and this one is surprisingly skookum for its cost. I am really happy with the quality of the wire, switching unit and the overall feel of the iron. The extra tools are a great bonus to a great product.The order processing was expedient and well packaged.Overall this kit is well worth the money

This is a great kit for the price. I do a lot of soldering, but I admit it is pretty simple stuff. I ran into a situation where I needed a few extra tips and a couple other tools. It was not easy to settle on an inexpensive iron, but I am glad I went with this. This comes with all the extra parts I needed and more. Overall just works great for my very frequent but simple usage. This would also be the perfect starter kit.
