Great Headphones
Since purchasing the JBL headphones I’ve completely enjoyed using them. There functionality and ease of use is top notch. The wireless headphones stay charged for a very long duration. There are a little pricey but worth the money. They fit well in my ears. However, after a few hours, the extra rubber piece that gives it a better hold to the ear, starts to cause pain. So I’m not able to wear and use them for a long time period. I’ve been impressed with the design until recently. A piece that covers the plastic ear tip has come out. Which has made it collect dust down inside the earbud. They are very hard to clean once the ear rubber size is taken off, especially if there is dust or a little bit of ear wax. I would still recommend and buy again. Hoping the construction and pieces are more durable.

Buying again for price, but Flaws.
These are great because they stay in my ears almost perfectly compared to other major brands and my earlier non-locking JBLs. I wanted waterproof so I could listen to my books or music in the shower as I got ready in the morning, but I have to remember to change the tapping settings (pause, skip, volume, Siri, etc) to off before or else EVERY water drop will cause it to do something. ANYTHING that brushes the side of the device while wearing it causes it to do something, usually pausing it for me, but if it brushes back AND forth, it may skip ahead. It’s just annoying. Whatever. Still better than most because I have the OPTION of using in water. And it still works after without sounding wonky (if your ears are dry; putting them INTO wet ears make them slippery and sound weird out of shower). I am buying another set because I lost one of them rushing upstairs to wake up my kids for a tornado siren (false alarm). Since they are fairly cheap, I don’t even mind just replacing it. The lost feature is pretty worthless-if it’s dead (or out of range?), it will tell you it can’t be found, not last known location or last time used…Nothing helpful. I had to wait until after work to look, and it must have been drained by then. It charges quick; but it’s annoying when it keeps beeping (or speaking: battery low) to remind me. I wish I could limit reminders so it would just stop playing after a warning. I like falling asleep to a book and the beep or voice prompt abruptly wakes me up/stops that process unnecessarily.

rock solid in the ears, decent sound quality
I love these.. was in the market to buy earbuds that wont fall out of my ears during a run / workouts. and boy, these just wont. very snug fit, can be worn for hours without wearing you out, great sound quality (no audiophile ones but you know why you are buying them) and battery life (with the included case i never really have had a problem with these running out of juice). these are great for taking phone calls too. no apparent disturbance on the other end and the microphone picks the voice well. only concern is the tap functionality.. both earbuds have tap functionality and different functions for volume, changing tracks, play/pause etc.. it gets confusing sometimes and am not a big fan of that.

From A Loyal To Heartbroken User...
I purchased these on three different occasions. The first pair I purchased in December, 2023 were great!! I workout quite consistently and heavily and sweat a lot. The first pair continued to deliver great sound and remain in my ear even during the most intense of workout sessions. Sadly, I lost my first pair two months after buying them (my fault) and purchased a second pair without hesitation. The second pair held up well until after a while they didn't. After a couple of years, one ear went bad until both earbuds eventually didn't produce any sound regardless of how charged they were. No big deal. I chalked it up as it being time to replace them. In May, 2025, I purchased a brand new third set. I don't know what happened in two years since the purchase of the first/second sets or if this set was just malfunctioned, but these buds could not handle my workouts. Sweat would cause one earbud (mainly the right one) to clog and not produce any sound and the sound quality of the other earbud was horrible. The volume would go very low (even with the volume turned all the way up) and the sound was garbled. UGGGHHHH!!! So disappointing!!! I dealt with them like this for three months holding out hope that these were just rare instances that would eventually correct over time. No such luck! Also the buds would loosen from my ears and slowly slide out of position (sometimes falling out). To remedy this I would wear bandanas to help hold them in place. SO ANNOYING!! I just don't want to deal with this anymore, so into the drawer of used and dead electronic items it goes along with the old cell phones, non-working chargers, and the second pair of lame JBL Race earbuds. I'm really bummed, but it's time to move on to better! One star.

Good purchase!
Sound is excellent. Confortable and don't feel like they will fall out while exercising, running.

Decent purchase for short term use
These earbuds are decent for the price, I did like the sound quality and how they fit on my ears, but after having them for slightly over a year they become completely unusable. The touch controls were the first to start having problems, then the headphones wouldn’t turn off after putting them back in the case causing the batteries to drain from the earbuds and case, on top of that the charging system isn’t very effective and for me showed a lot of problems, sometimes the charging light would not come on so I couldn’t tell if they were charging in the first place, then the last time I tried plugging them in it completely shorted out the block they were plugged into. These are a good buy if you aren’t planning on using them daily or for long term, this is quite disappointing because all other jbl products I have still work after 5+ years of use, I think this model specifically is just kind of prone to breaking after about a year.

Mad decent
Picked these up to replace Sony WF500 since I thought I had lost one of the ear buds (turns out I didn't but whatever). Noise cancelation is pretty good honestly can't hear much besides the music playing which could be a bad thing depending on your surroundings. I personally think this feature is great since it means I can't hear a damn thing my boss or coworkers are saying lol. Depth of sound is decent though I found these headphones to be a bitbass heavy as lower frequencies are much more pronounced. The app that JBL has for their headphones is about worthless.... I have only used it to change the function of tapping each earpiece. Speaking of not sure if it's just me or what but I find it difficult to tap the earpieces in the ways needed to do things like lower the volume (major issue in my opinion) or go to previous/next song in playlist u like the WF500 which are fairly simple to operate. More often than not the volume level will increase when I attempt to turn it down which is no good considering the low frequencies are amplified considerably more than higher frequencies. I normally run a digital equalizer when listening to music and actually had to make some adjustments to bring the sound profile back to a reasonable state where I could enjoy what I was listening to rather than experience accelerated hearing loss. Overall they are mad decent for the price but be prepared to augment thr sound profile with some sort of digital equalizer unless all you want to hear is the bass frequencies.
