This worked great! It helped me open up my large splinter that had already scabbed over. It was on the tip of my thumb. I used some warm water and espom salt to soften it up first. Didn’t hurt at all! I couldn’t actually believe that something could get under the skin without hurting or making me bleed.

This was amazing! It’s the exact right tool to quickly and painlessly remove the skin around whatever is stuck allowing you to grasp it. Thank you!

My only critique is that I didnt buy this sooner!! I had a cactus splinter in my thumb and it was DEEP. It bothered me so much so I started researching and found this. It is compact, quick, and easy. Plus its HSA eligible. It is well worth the money and I will buy it again if I run out. I was surprised on how small the box and needle was. Honestly 1000% impressed.

I have already used this twice. This tiny package is great to have in your camping first aid kit. It is very easy to use, and super sharp. I was able to remove two splinter easily with minimal damage to surrounding tissue and no pain. You can simply bend the sharp end when disposing a used lancet so it’s no longer sharp.
