Works pretty well. Planning to buy again soon.
I have tried to refill hp ink cartridges before, but I have always ended up not being able to print anything with them; this one definitely worked on a HP 61 cartage and the prints have been pretty good. Here is the steps i used1. open the sticker on top of the cartrage2. Find the hole which has ink in it - there are about 5 holes on top and only 1 has ink... so check which one...3. take 5 mil in the syringe and fill in the cartage slowly.4. put the sticker back on top of the cartrage5. leave the cartage for about 30 mins6. take some hot water and dip the cartage printing head into it.. until u see ink coming - helps when the cartage head is clogged / dried7. Print a few pages - took me 6 prints before i got a good one... try running a cleaning head cycle if needed on the printer settingsimportant thing - do the filling over a sink where u can wash the ink off if you drop it.. your wife will thank you for not dirtying the place :)

Many Uses!
I refilled my cartridges at least twice before my HP printer gave me an error saying it didn't recognize that the cartridge was full. Saved me a lot of money. Straight forward to use as long as you look up how to refill your particular cartridge. There is a lot of ink in the bottle. I would think you could get at least 10 uses out of it, if not more.

No tool to make hole in cartridge
It would be nice to get a tool to make a hole in the plastic cartridge. It isn't like you can just press the needle through the top. Very disappointed.

No more going broke.
This product works great. The price is reasonable. Ease of use is simple. So, here are some tips for refilling an HP black ink cartridge with no mess or aggravation. When you pull out the HP ink cartridge, peal back the paper until you see a hole on the top right side. There’s also one on the left and I think a hole at the bottom. I used hole on the right side. So put down paper towels just in case you spill some ink and wear disposable gloves. In the kit, there are 2 small metal balls which I assumed were to be put into ink bottle, so when use shake it, the ink gets mixed better. I don’t know if true, as NO DIRECTIONS CAME WITH ORDER, but it’s not brain surgery. Take syringe and metal needle tip and screw together. I stuck syringe needle into cartridge to see if I was bone dry and I was close to it. I stuck syringe into ink bottle and drew ink up to the 20 ml marking. It’s important not to overfill ink cartridge as it’s a bit messy to clean up. My printer is an HP Deskjet 2652 model and cartridge filled was HP 65. After you fill cartridge, there’s no need to cover hole you just used for filling. I never have. If you let your cartridge run bone dry and then left it sitting around for some time, you may run into trouble. Put cartridge into printer and all should work. If you get an error message, unplug and plug printer back in and turn on. I had no troubles, worked like a charm and easily saved $30. I’m one happy camper.

AMAZING!!!
I can’t believe I never did this before! I have been paying so much for ink all these years! This was SO easy. It was also not messy at all. To begin with, I did not wait until I was out of ink. I refilled as soon as I got the low ink message. I wrapped the end of the cartridge with plastic wrap so I wouldn’t dry it out. Then I took off the HP67XL sticker, there was already a hole in the middle. I poked a toothpick in the hole to make sure it was where the sponge was, the toothpick came out black - SCORE!! The needle included is dull, so it will not penetrate the sponge. I filled the syringe to 5ml, inserted the needle at an angle and slowly filled the cartridge. One side took all the ink so I filled up to 4ml and did the other side. Since the XL holds 10ml, I stopped here. I sealed the top, unwrapped the end, pushed the end on a paper towel and saw ink so I put it back in my printer and printed 8 pages with no problem. I cleaned the needle and syringe with alcohol and let dry before putting it away.

Didn't work on my new HP
Its a nice kit for the money and may work on other printers but for me, it doesn't work at all even though it advertises my cartage number. I could be this high-end hp printer has some kind of stop feature when switching out cartridges. The kit is of good quality has good directions. hope it works for you. Bear

Wow works great!
I'm so skeptical when it comes to buying do it yourself products thinking yeah sure it's easy but this was really easy and works great. I was tired of purchasing high price ink cartridges that only give me a few low quality pages. This is a really great buy.
