high chances of arriving melted if order during summer
I rated this higher than what I should based on this box...The packaging itself is nice. All the crayons and markers were accounted for. It’s great to have the colors separated so I can easily distribute the color I need for the kids instead of digging into a box looking for them (which is exactly why I bought this)Is it a good price for what you get? Honestly, I don’t think so since a 10 pack of markers is only 97 cents. Again, I have to go back to the reason I purchase these - so I would have the colors pre sorted and enough for the children. The markers were different in that they only have a small nub instead of a point (which the preschoolers bite off or suck all the ink out) I didn’t have any issue with the markers - it was just a surprise. The crayons were the biggest issue. Each color pack had been melted. A couple of the colors weren’t as bad as the others (like black and brown) but you can see from the photos that most of the colors were melted together and the bottom of the box coated in the wax (almost all the crayons had so much wax gone many of the crayons’ wrappers were very loose and some of the tips were bent over. The yellow pack was melted so much I couldn’t get it out of the box. This was disappointing- it’s the reason I ordered this box and have to return.I’m sure this isn’t a quality issue with crayola or even amazon themselves but rather storage and shipping and the box becoming too hot.I think I’ll end up just returning and buying a bunch of small boxes locally and find a way to keep sorted. Ordering during summer was a mistake and I’m pretty sure the next box would probably be the same way.

markers came dried out and crayons broken
I was very disappointed with this purchase. Upon receipt, every single yellow marker was dried out. Half of the red and half of the orange markers were also dried out and do not work. A good 1/4 of the crayons came with the tips broken off. I haven't tested every single marker yet, but I am sure there are more that will be useless.

Missing/Damaged….Replaced….No longer missing but not all the markers work.
All I can say is that my guess is that someone returned the box I received without informing anyone its contents were missing and defective. Instead of 8 off each color marker and crayon I revived 3 off each with the exception of orange and green markers-there were more of them but they were missing caps and were dried out. Someone had drawn on the inside of the box so clearly it had been opened previously. I’ll say this…when I made my return the clerk made no effort to verify the contents until I opened it myself to show my reason for return. I can see how it could happen that a return would go back out in poor condition. I requested a replacement so hopefully that one arrives in tact and in working condition. I’ll update accordingly.Update: I received the replacement package today. First thing I noticed was the it was shrink wrapped, unlike the first package, which I took as a good sign. This package contained all the crayons and markers and but after a test of the markers I did find that seven of the eight orange markers and four of the eight brown markers were dried out completely even with their caps on. Obviously I’d hope that all the brand new markers would work properly but at this point I don’t have time to wait for another return. I’m disappointed because I’ve never had trouble with Crayola products in the past. Maybe the seller will be kind and send my class some orange and brown markers? We’ll see. Best of luck to anyone willing to take the gamble. I guess if you don’t like orange or brown it’s a good buy;).

Loved the price
I did not like the flat round tops,,. Markers had no tip to them, made it very hard for the children to color

Disappointing
I bought 2 sets of these over the summer because of the price and I really liked the triangle shape of the crayons for my preschoolers to help with their fine motor grasping skill. I also liked that there were only 8 colors of the markers. Preschoolers don't need more than 8 colors. However, once school started back up this fall, I am very disappointed in this product. While the crayons are helping with proper grasping, they easily break into 2 pieces when dropped, and the paper doesn't stay on the crayons very well. One may say they are still usable without the paper on them, but for some kids it's really hard to tell the difference between purple, black, and blue. Plus, once they break in two, the kids want to throw them away because they are "broken". The markers are a worse product. Most of them had their ink run dry after a few uses (no, the lids weren't left off). Now my facility is having to replace markers for all of our children. Great idea, but if I had known that 1.5 months into school I would be replacing all of our markers and pretty soon the crayons too, I would have "played" with them back over the summer when I got them.....but I trusted the Crayola brand name.

Colors arrived broken and markers dried out
Several colors were broken and about one third of the markers were dried out. Some barely worked and others were dried out completely. Very disappointed. As a teacher spending my own money for my classroom, it was very upsetting to half so many of these items not work.
