I used these filters and a few others just like them for almost a year. They really work to pull out the tar and nicotine. When I had to stop smoking cold turkey due to a medical procedure, I was really afraid of going through withdrawal. Smoking is bad but I feel that these filters do work because I see the trapping of nicotine and black gunk that could of been within my lungs.I use Marborol Lights and these still trap nicotine.I use them 2 times and discard the filter.

very disappointing failure rate of about 50% I rather spend more money on better quality filter then throwing away half the filters I was using tarbust brand before but the new purchase of tarbust was even worst then this brand so still looking for a different better quality filter brand.
