I have a very thin hair and short hair. I am wondering if this product can add volume to my hair all day or not?

My fine-thin short hair loves this stuff - it does give it a bit of a lift. If I over spray my hair, the area will feel a bit stiff, but I can brush that right out and maintain the poof all day, unless my head gets wet - then the poof is over.

Can you use the its a 10 lite leave in conditioner and this product? or would that leave fine hair too heavy?

I do , and I have fine hair. Works well!

If I get this product, do I need to use an additional hairspray for strong hold?

This is a volumizer so it will give your hair more body. Spray it on damp hair before u blowdry, then style and hairspray to hold the style.

is this considered an aerosol container?

This is not an aerosol, rather a light spray. I love it!
