I have been using Nature's Gate toothpaste for a few years now and nothing else of the fluoride free, plant derived ingredients ilk ticks all my boxes quite like it does. It leaves my teeth feeling clean and my breath fresh, the flavor is good, and the ingredient list doesn't make me cringe. I was sad that Whole Foods stopped carrying it, but am happy to have found it here.

Doesn't have enough surfactant. I developed a lot of plaque build up very quickly and my dentist asked what had changed. It might be OK for someone who wants to use a Cr*st or C*lgate type product less, but not for someone who doesn't want to use them at all.

My son gets canker sores & can't use toothpaste with Sodium Laurel Sulfate in it. Nature's Gate is one of the few that doesn't have it. And he loves the taste!
