This is set is so much better than having to purchase individually! The pigment is great and easy to pour. Dries quickly and is the right thickness to get an even coverage on my project. Love the colors, nice size bottles make this a great value

Love Tulip paints. Been using them for yeaarrsss on all my costumes. Colors are just as vibrant as in bottles and wont come off with wash.

Nice set of paints, but you must use brushes and a palette; these are not the tubes with the squeeze out tips for outlining or writing. Other wise ok

We used this paint to paint squishies at a birthday party, and it was perfect--spread well with even coverage, and it hasn't been cracking or rubbing off. The colors have stayed vibrant as well, and it's been more than a month. This paint is definitely higher quality than the paint that comes with the squishy kits. We used both--I wanted to make sure we had plenty of colors and plenty of paint--and the kids didn't notice much of a difference, but I definitely did.

i saw some people say they were disappointed in how small these are, but the description says that it's only 1oz of paint so i'm not sure what those people were expecting. even though they're small, it's a good amount of paint! especially if you're just starting. for me, the paint itself is the slightest bit too thick to be able to spread easily without overloading my brush, but i found that thinning out the paint with a few drops of water makes it the perfect consistency :) and as you can see the colors are super vibrant!! these are some projects I've done since purchasing and I still have some paint left if I wanted to work on something else. if anything, i would say to purchase an extra bottle of the soft matte white paint (also available on amazon!), since you go through a bit of it when mixing colors. i would also maybe buy an extra bottle of the soft matte black paint if you do darker pieces or are going to do a lot of outlining. overall, i'm really satisfied with this! i'm definitely going to be purchasing again :)

While these work really well, they are loaded with fine glitter, which I'm super upset about as someone who wasted product trying this 'matte' paint and it turned into sparklefest 2026. Even with a matte top coat, nothing fixed it, 3/5 for it working well despite not being as described.

Perfect! Easy to spread, vibrant colors, doesn't dry too fast or too slow. One coat for full vibrancy, 2 coats of white to cover up any mistakes. Couldn't hope for better! Also I saw some reviews mentioned issues with opening the metal foil seals before first use. But I think the producer must have fixed that issue with this batch because I had no issue opening these. The bottles are very full tho, so any little squeeze while initially unsealing them will squish some out. But once you learn to be aware of that, it's easy peasy!
