Rosacea? USE THIS
This is - hands down - the best sea buckthorn oil I’ve found and used. It has TRANSFORMED my skin.Found I kept breaking out with other oils, but read that sea buckthorn was great for rosacea and blepharitis.Ordered from a different brand that was good but the oil was almost colourless and I knew sea buckthorn should be quite strong if it’s pure and cold pressed. After using this consistently for 6 months my skin looks amazing. So clear, so healthy and zero texture. Barely have any spots nowadays, not even around my time of the month. Colour evens out on the face leaving a very subtle golden glow before it sinks in - I love it.Honestly this is the best thing you can do for your skin and I am going to order other things from Gays labs as the quality is fantastic

Excellent consistency and smell
I used to buy my calendula oil in sweet almond oil but I haven't been able to find any in years, so mov d to olive oil calendula, and that is now being pushed aside for sunflower oil, which I don't like the smell of it and it feels greasy, and makes your clothes reek after washing if you get it on them.So I was very pleased to find this oil in olive oil.It arrived quickly, it comes packaged in a pretty box which itself it sealed in that heat shrink plastic ( which I am not a fan of).The oil has a wonderful unctuous consistency. The bottle states tye carrier oil ( olive oil) is organic.Tye colour is not as deep as some however it feels wonderful on the skin.I have two little patches of dry skin either side of my nose just next to my eyes.I use calendula oil directly on these and it keeps the dry skin at bay. Just one drop undiluted does tye trick .I also use calendula oil in my summer body oil I make for tye ladies in our Family and it works wonders in keeping elbows, knees and tootsie's soft and smooth. There are lots of uses for calendula oil, directly believe it is anti fungal, anti bacterial and anti inflammatory, if you Google it I am sure it will give you all tye relevant things it is good for however I can attest to using for my family for over 30 years, and although it is my first time buying this brand I am very happy with it.It also doesn't have a strong smell, which is excellent. As I mentioned I find the calendula in sunflower oil to reek like a chippy so reccomend checking what oil your calendula is in.Why is it in another oil? As far as I understand it, calendula ( marigolds) are not pressed to release the oil, it doesn't come from the seeds, no.It is a process of maceration, which means popping the flowers in oil and then liquidising, and then it sits to be aged as tye mushed up flowers release their goodness into the oil used.It makes the oil go orange. At least that is what I believe is the case, as I tried to find some without carrier oil when the industry stopped offering sweet almond as an option, and then found out the above, if I have remembered correctly. So essentially, the oil is like a solvent, absorbing the good phytonutrients from the flowers... I think.

Don’t normally do this.
Don’t expect quick results. I’m double crowned and thinning at the front, it’s to be expected as I’m in my 50s. I’ve been using this product for a couple of weeks, and I think it’s working. My hair seems slightly thicker. Also I’ve been snacking on pumpkin seeds, which on several counts are good for the health. The instructions recommend 3 drops on the palm of the hand, and to then massage into the scalp. I found out from another site to mix a little extra virgin olive oil with the pumpkin seed oil. Apparently the extra virgin olive oil acts as a “carrier” for the pumpkin seed oil, helping it to permeate the scalp.I’m recommending this product as it’s inexpensive, but it works (slowly).

Makes skin soft but not great smell
The prickly pear oil feels good on my skin and leaves it soft. But the smell is not for me. Comes in nice packaging
