After seeing something similar at a friend's house, I knew I wanted one of my own. A good quality one. I am beyond thrilled with the quality of this map! The poster is nice and thick and none of the scratch off surface was damaged when I received it (that was a big worry of mine). Nothing was scratched or flaked off. One thing I like about this poster is that it has extra goodies/fun stuff along the bottom. I didn't mention it in the video, but as you scratch off a country, the rivers and major cities appear underneath the scratch off coating. It's nice and big as well. The map is topographical too. It doesn't look cheap, so it will look nice hanging in my house/living room. I would HIGHLY recommend this to people who love to travel and want a fun/cool way to keep track of the places they've visited.The one thing I was a tiny bit disappointed with is that it didn't come with a scratching tool. But I wasn't disappointed enough to take a star away. Pretty much everyone has SOMETHING they can use to scratch it off.

I originally bought this map for my husband and I. We love to travel, and I want to see anything and everything, all over the globe! When the map got here and I was explaining it to my husband he pointed out that it would be better for us, at this time to have a map like this, but on of the US. We can't necessarily afford to travel all I we the world, and we want to visit every state. So I decided I would give this poster to my friends who travel out of country annually, in fact they are off to Spain in a few months. Even though I am not keeping this map for myself I absolutely love it!I opened it up and tested it out before giving to my travelling friends. The map really is gourgious by itself. Then you scratch off a country and it gets even prettier! The black background really makes the land masses pop, before and after scratching them. I also love the key at the bottom of the map, it is very informative. I scratched off Parague, because that is where one of my friends spent a lot of his childhood, and a beautiful pink was revealed underneather the black. Scratching it off was really easy. I used a penny. I will say that scratching it off on a hard surface does work better though. When I had first layed out the map I had in on my couch and I was really able to scratch it off there.I can not wait to give this to my friends when they return from the trip they are on now! I know they are going to love tracking their travels on this map.

My husband is a huge map lover. I mean the type who would hang maps all over the house if I'd let him. He was thrilled when I found this one to help document where we've travelled so far.The size is amazing. It's as large as our coffee table (as you can see in the picture). We are hoping to frame it and hang it where we can see it daily.The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it counts the US as 1 place and doesn't divide it into states. Seeing as we have 2 young ones, most of our international travel was before they were born or waiting until after they are much older. Since we haven't travelled all of the US I can't very well scratch it all off. I also can't figure out a way to scratch off just the US states we've been to since it isn't divided. Other than that, I can see someone who travels to different countries really loving this map!

A link in your email from the company provides you with not only a carefully worded explanation of how to use your map but a 24 page color booklet that celebrates travel, gives you practical advice about seeing the world and describes the benefits of travel.Love the bright colors on the map as I scratch but wish the United States color was a little more vibrant. It is kind of lost in the tan continent.I thought I had seen a lot of the world, but I have my work cut out for me. I have just scratched the surface!Would love to have a US map of the same format so that I could be more specific in my American experience.

My dream is to travel the world so when I saw this scratch off world map, I knew I had to have it! It arrived in a hard cardboard tube rolled up, which is good if you don't have a frame for it because it keeps the map safe from bending and creasing. I unrolled the map and it was even bigger than I expected which was cool! It looks even prettier than the pictures. And it matches my office perfectly with the gold, black and white theme I have going on. The map also has fun facts on the bottom border which are nice, such as the highest and lowest points and biggest lakes, etc. All in all, I absolutely love this map and it matches my personality perfectly. It's so fun to scratch off the countries I've been to. I highly recommend any wanderlusters to buy this, it's a great visual representation and I can't wait to scratch off more countries!

I am very excited about this map. I bought this for my Daughter, she has plans to do allot of traveling in her future and she was excited to have this map to keep track of her destinations. After we received this map she started scratching off places that she has already visited. You do have to be careful while scratching,but the bright colors and excitement is worth it. We did find that the corner of a credit card worked best ,this did not compromise the paper underneath. My grandchildren love looking at it and ask their Aunt about all of the places she has scratched off and can't wait for her to scratch more places. This would make a wonderful gift for anyone who travels. This is such a great gift for the price. The shipping was very fast and I always like when a company follows up with emails checking on your purchase, this shows me great customer service.
