FRESH & HONEST Awake Filter Coffee Powder 70: 30 Blend, 500g, Packet

This is good filter coffee with strong aroma. Mind it this not an instant coffe but a fliter coffee which needs brewing for 10 - 15 minutes for strong taste and aroma.

In my order of 10 packets, the company has included a broken packet on purpose. The broken seal was closed with sellotape and included in the order. The product is not eligible for return as shown on app. Please refund the amount since the product is not consumable due to possible contamination. Update: Amazon refunded the amount for the broken packet, and the product is great! The coffee has good flavour, and has a thick consistency. Though I prefer 80:20 mix myself, this mix works too.

Things one should know before buying this coffee- 1. This is filter coffee. A good load of reviews written for this product are by people who were looking for instant coffee but bought this by mistake and we're upset. 2. Google how to make filter coffee if you do not know how to make it but already bought this. 3. The coffee decoction and milk proportion for filter coffee is tricky, so pay attention to that. 4. I bought two 500g packets for 220 so it was very very affordable for me. 5. The coffee's taste is not that refined so it does taste like vending machine coffee. I adjusted its flavour by adding Sidapur's 100% coffee roast to this in 1:3 parts, more this, less sidapur. The packet clearly says that they specialise in vending machine coffee so not the company's fault. We are supposed to add milk accordingly. 6. The taste of the coffee is like a slap in the face early morning, so no doubt, I'm awake for my work. 7. If you have it dark, without sugar, try Iced Americano, the taste mellows down and you will love it. 8. I don't think they had a cheaper coffee which is better than this. The cheapest I have tried was Levista and it was pricier than this and had no flavour. 9. No need of comparing this with Kothas or Davidoff, the prices are very different. 10. I might not go for it again, but I found the brand when I was looking for something broke and I don't regret it. Also 1kg is gonna last a long long time. I use a french press to make my coffee. I decided to try Fresh &Honest Awake 70:30 blend because of its low price. The coffee that I get from this is very sad and insipid. I will go running back to my usual brands (Deccan Gold, Kothas) once I am done with the two packs of Fresh & Honest that I bought. I am counting the days till the two packets of bad coffee are finally over, so I can switch back to the others. I think (but I am not sure) that the reason for the lack of flavour is the high percentage of chicory. It says 70:30 on the packet, but I suspect that there is lots more chicory (or really bad coffee) in the pack than 30%. I may be very wrong about this, though. But I am definitely not wrong about the drop of quality in my daily life the day I started drinking this coffee!
