With our sons Championship football game coming up and a high chance of rain, I figured it would make sense to find a poncho for myself and the rest of the family along with our umbrellas. Hence, the order here. The packaging is compact and overall it is lightweight and easy to store and keep with you when on the move. It did indeed start to rain enough that it was time to break out the poncho. It was easy enough to get on my son (average size 8 year old). It seems decently made for a disposable one time use poncho (I guess you could in theory use it more than once if you take care to fold it up nicely.) The only reason why I did not give it a full 5 stars is that being that I am in the Chicago area and wind is an issue, it is a little too lightweight and easily moves with wind gusts. But overall, well worth the price and to use for a sports event or emergency use. I am going to put the rest in my car for any sort of emergency type situation moving ahead.

I almost didn’t read the reviews because a poncho is a poncho. I’m so glad I did. We spent a rain soaked trip at Disney and these were so worth it. Unlike other ponchos, these are full sleeved and are cuffed at the wrist and have a drawstring for the face. Two straight days of rain and these kept up completely dry. I didn’t realize what a big difference it would make to have the arms covered. These genuinely kept us from being miserable. I’d personally plan on having one a day per person. They’re well made but they are disposable and one in our group got a hole each day. Also using a baseball hat kept my face dry. I don’t think I’ll ever do another Disney trip if there is a stalled front of cold driving rain, but if I do I’ll be buying these again.
