Bought this for my 12 year old daughter. The old app had fun stamps, you could draw on the images,... it was fun and happy.The new app has practically none of this. However, it has a 'beauty' section which has an endless list of body image adjustments. Bigger eyes, makes you thinner, size of lips....I am horrified. I was speechless and embarassed when we took our first pictures together on her new Christmas gift.It is appalling that they changed the character of the app in such an obviously sexist and body-shaming manner.

Ich hatte mir diesen Drucker gekauft, weil ich gerne jeden Tag ein Foto in ein Erinnerungsbuch kleben wollte.Dazu gab es zwei Nachfüllpacks mit 30 Bildern.Was nicht dazu geschrieben stand ist, dass für die 30 Bilder insgesamt drei Kartuschen benötigt werden, weil eine Kartusche nur zehn Bilder enthält.Das ist angesichts des entstehenden Plastikmülls nicht nur sehr ärgerlich, sondern richtiggehend erschreckend.Somit ist das Gerät für mich in seiner angedachten Funktion nicht nutzbar.Die Bilder an sich haben je nach Bearbeitungsmodus eine ganz passable Qualität und wären von der Größe her optimal gewesen.Ärgerlich ist auch, dass das Gerät anfängt Bilder zu drucken, den Vorgang jedoch mittendrin beendet, weil der Akku zur Neige geht. Hier gäbe es technisch durchaus die Möglichkeit, in der App anzuzeigen, dass der Ladestatus zu niedrig ist. Auf diese Art und Weise habe ich drei Bilder in den Sand gesetzt, was angesichts der oben beschriebenen Kartuschenproblematik sehr ärgerlich ist.Nach dem Start der App wechselt sie beim Durchsuchen der Bilderordner immer in den Plastiken und meint, ich müsse die Kodak-App erst installieren, was bissel nervig ist.Mein anfängliche (Vor-)Freude über das Gerät wurde schnell getrübt. Schade, ich hatte mich sehr auf die bildreiche Gestaltung meiner Notizen gefreut.

Was unsure when reading some of the reviews about picture quality but can’t fault it. Ideal for a scrap book or putting in cards. Really pleased with it.

Absolutely brilliant little printer. Pay attention to the instructions as it can make a difference to the print quality. Photo's straight from your phone camera will look great. If they have been compressed (sending images via WhatsApp for instance etc) then they will be a little blurry. It's simple to set up and use via the app. You may have to crop a photo down in another app first as the Kodak app doesn't allow this but all in all a great piece of kit.

So I was hesitant to purchase this printer but I’m pleasantly surprised. The prints itself are great. The picture paper is great. Colour is great. And I like that cartridges are easy to find. Pictures are quite small tho so me sure you read the description. I bought this specifically so that I could easily create my scrapbook/baby book for my new baby. So for this purpose the printer is great!Only concerns are.. I can’t seem to find any ink remedy for when the ink runs out. I am yet to find any ink replacements so if the printer is done when the ink is gone it will not be worth the money.. so I have to keep trying to figure that out.Also: just a note… the battery dies after about 15 prints. And to charge takes about an hour. So if your using this for a large project keep in mind it will take you a while. I made the mistake of trying to print while charging and spit out empty photo paper. So don’t even attempt to print while the printer is charging.But as far as quality and function goes, it’s great
