I stuck the Gravgrip onto an extendable pole - about 2m long. Works really well - gave an excellent mini-drone effect. I have a couple of gripes though. Firstly, it’s not so great if you want to do a selfie with it. The close proximity with pole and the wide angle of my GoPro meant that the pole gets into the video as well. I have to ensure that the pole is almost vertical before the video is not getting the pole into the video. Secondly, I wish there was a clamp somewhere that would allow me to stop the Gravgrip from working temporarily so that it is fixed in position for some shots that I want to point in a certain direction apart from horizontally level.

Great customer support. I had my gravgrip setup wrong. Customer support was quick to respond and guided me in the right direction. It’s a cool product. Video attached shows 2 different rotation speeds. 1 slow rotation, 1 Faster rotation Pros: -Pretty much every clip I film has some crazy new angle to it. Its fun to watch -Great for low to high or high to low transitions -Easy to adjust gimbal speed once you figure out how gravity affects it -Super small Cons: -this is not meant to further stabilize footage. It works in combination with a camera that has image stabilization like GoPro Hypersmooth. I know it’s not meant to be, but it could be confusing Overall I love it, but I won’t always film with GravGrip attached, it doesn’t make sense for all shots, but it does for a lot of them!
