Farr Laboratories Cysta-Q Maximum Strength Interstitial Cystitis (IC) Relief and Bladder Discomfort - Urinary Urgency and Frequency – 60 Capsules

I had been sick for almost 6 months ~ multiple doctors and myself thought the "tummy ache" was caused by the digestive system. After thousands of $ in tests, I went to my urologist. After a very thorough exam, I was diagnosed with a bladder infection, kidney stones and cysts on the other kidney. After an antibiotic and after "shock wave" out-patient treatment for the stones, I felt well for about 24 hours. Then the "tummy ache" returned. I was then diagnoised with intersitial cystitis and given a sample bottle of Cysta-Q. It took a few days but after buying a full 60 tab bottle, all symptoms were relieved. I now take 1 capsule once a day just about the '24-hr. mark' from the last one ~ and I seem to go about my day with no pain. Having survived 4 brain surgeries almost 15 yrs ago, I was very suspect about a non-Rx solution (back then I had many "helpful" suggestions of supplements during the 9 mos. prior to the brain surgery diagnosis, none worked.)BUT! This truly seems to be worth the money and has been effective for me.

I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis and went through all the typical procedures - Hydrodistention, etc. Started on Elmiron then switched to this. Cysta-Q elevated 99% of all my symptoms and allowed me to eat and drink just about anything I wanted again. It's a miracle for me. I always keep a bottle on hand for flare ups oy now.

I’ve been taking this twice a day for about a month. It has a relaxing effect on tense or nervous muscles around bladder.I don’t know exactly what’s going on but when I see my Doc I’ll ask her.I can’t promise ant relief for others but I’ll continue to take it.

Update...6-11-13...Just a reminder to those of you who have the devastating disease...Interstitual Cystitis...like me. We grasp at anything that might possibly give us some relief from the pain. This company States that their product will help...so people purchase it. When it doesn't work...they tell you that they can't refund your $50.00 because you opened the bottle...what?...how are you going to see if it works.Update...6-8-13...DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT...IT DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!!!.......I HAVE TRIED AND TRIED TO GET A REFUND AND THEY WON'T EVEN DISCUSS IT WITH ME. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING PURCHASING THIS...SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND FLUSH $50.00 DOWN THE TOILET.This is an update...I have tried everything to get a refund on this product...think twice before you buy...It does not work for me and the company refuses to refund my money. I have been desperately searching for nonprescription help because anyone that has this disease knows how expensive prescriptions for this are even with insurance. Without...it's thousands of dollars. I have tried to get the seller to refund my money but they won't unless you send them an unopened bottle. How would I know if it worked or not. I do not like to leave bad reviews...but I can't get this seller to help. If you are considering buying this product please remember that they will not refund your $50.00 +dollars if you open the bottle...so...I don't know how you can try it without opening it...Another update...I can't believe they are still allowed to sell this on Amazon!!!!! I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis this past December 2014. My urologist recommended this product. I didn't try it first. I put together some natural supplements suggested by others with the same diagnosis. However, I got very sick with a sinus infection/cold and I just could not keep from being in pain, so I gave this a try. I need to be able to go to work! For me, I take one tablet three times a day (basically with each meal). I do try to watch the trigger foods that worsen my condition. If I am sick, I have learned that for whatever reason, I am going to be more susceptible to symptoms. With Cysta-Q, I find I can manage my symptoms and go pain-free (but it takes 3 per day for me). I did try the vitamins that Farr Labs created for persons with IC, but I find I cannot take those without my symptoms flaring up. However, I have been very happy with the management of my IC with Cysta-Q and would definitely recommend it to others. It is kind of expensive, but no more so than the several supplements I was buying myself to try to manage my IC. And I like taking just one pill at a time instead of several.

Hello,I have IC for 2 years now. It has impacted my life on many levels. I am going to write a long message because I know what every single one of you is going through. Traveling can be horrible because I am constantly worrying about whether or not I ll have access to a bathroom. The worst part for me is not necessarily pain related. The frequency of bathroom visits per day is what makes my day difficult. On average I use the bathroom 20-30 times per day, ( I am 30 years old female so this SUCKS) especially when I drink more water. I work out so drinking more water is necessary. However, I do not drink tons mostly because I have to use the bathroom so often. When I got this pill, I was not expecting a miracle. I have been on it for about a month now and take one in the morning and one at night time. However, it has improved the URGENCY I feel. I found that I can hold my bladder a little longer where as before I would have to go so bad , I would start feeling pain and felt like I could not hold my pee. I still urinate very frequently (unfortunately). I was hoping that my frequency will decrease but I have not noticed a change to this. This is why I am giving it 3 stars. However, the urgency has decreased and I do not feel pain when the urgency comes. I absolutely do recommend this pill for folks with IC because it does relieve some of the symptoms.
