For pete's sake don't touch the inside of the lenses!
I ordered these goggles in blue and did find the clarity really wonderful. I like the design that makes it possible to see in my peripheral vision area as well. I use these for lap swimming and find the comfort level just fine.Being new to the use of goggles I initially tightened them way too tight which left me with a bit of soreness on the brow bone, BUT I realized after a few sessions that goggles really don't have to be tightened to within an inch of their lives. Water pressure and the gasket around the goggles do a lot of the work. Finding that balance made the comfort level better. What I DON'T like AT ALL about these is the fragility of the lenses inside. After one of my swim sessions, I used the same piece of silk that I use to clean my regular glasses to DAB drops of water from the inside of the goggles and that was it. It made an awful smudge on the inside just by touching it. I was horrified and immediately went to the interwebz to find out how to deal with it. Seemed like the culprit was the anti-fog coating so I figured if I cleaned it off it would reveal a nice smooth smudge-free surface and then I could just use that Spit stuff if I had trouble with fogging. Nothing really worked (toothpaste, diluted vinegar solution, etc) and in the end I was left with a scratched mess. So disappointed.I find it really suspect that a pair of goggles would be engineered to be so delicate that you have to constantly baby them to ensure nothing gets even remotely near the inside of the lenses.

Excellent goggles for open water swimming!
Excellent goggles! I use these for open-water swimming, because the optics are crystal-clear and there is a nice, wide range of vision. Wore them for the Gulf Coast Half-Ironman in Panama City this year. The clarity was amazing, and it's nice to see what's on either side of me. I buy a lot of goggles, to be honest, (mostly Speedo Vanquishers, and the occasional TYR pair), and these are are my favorite. The price is a little more than my regular pool goggles, but I'd say they're worth it. As an added bonus, they look WAY cool. (Far cooler looking than the Aqua Sphere open water goggles, in my opinion.) I give them five stars!

High expectations. Only a little disappointed. Updated review after use.
Honestly. I expected these to be amazing. Atleast a 7 out of 5. I read up in these before hand. Here is why I rate these goggles a 3 out of 5. They no doubt looks sweet. Style points I’d give max points. Looking at them from the inside view (shown in photo I taken) they appear orange. I ordered amber mirror. So putting these on I’m expecting to see orange/yellow color right? Well not exactly. I put them on and see yellow on the outside rim but the main portion is violet or light purple color. Not saying that is good or bad, but my expectations were not what I would imagined. Nonetheless it was a surprise. As for comfort I would give it a 2-2.5 out of 5. I put these on at home and they are pretty rough on the eye brow bone. I haven’t swam in them yet but so far they are not comfortable except the rubber part. Maybe In the water they will feel better. I’m used to the competition TYR goggles which are smaller style. The band appears to be durable and the back adjuster looks solid. I will give them an honest effort in the water. I’d say being able to see( no leaks and anti fog) is most important then comfortablility.Comfortability got little better the more I used. Used maybe 4 times but not more then that and the strap broke where it curves around the lens. Happy this wasn’t in a race but bummed that it’s brand new and it had done this after 4 times. Besides that I like the lens and it’s functions. May need to find more enduring straps for the band though. I bumped it down another star for the band as the band is important for the googles to work anyways. If I can’t find a suitable band there is no point in keeping these regardless of how amazing the lens is. Best of luck to you all.

Amazing goggles... for the first few uses.
For the price, I expected a better value out of these goggles. They served me decently for one Hawaiian vacation in March of 2019. I consider them as good as a "rental."To clarify, after the first few uses I attempted to clean the interior with an anti-fog cloth since water had started to come into the left eye (and subsequently, it was fogging).1. I can see there is a slight warp in the seal on that eye, so that must be why it leaked in the first place. They were stored in an eyeglass case, so I don't believe that improper storage is to blame. I am not sure if I noticed this when they were brand new.2. Using the cloth (which I use on my ski goggles with no issue) - it left horrible scratches on the interior of the lens. I immediately switched to a microfiber cloth, with the same results.I'm not sure who is at fault here, and it very well could be me. Perhaps the anti-fog cloth is not meant for this type of swimwear. Perhaps they were not meant for ocean swimming, and the seawater would damage the interior coating or seal.I also wouldn't expect the cloth that I use to clean my glasses to do the same damage, nor would I expect the seal to have failed so easily on a premium pair of goggles. The upside is that the goggles were excellent when they were not leaking, and fit very well - so I'd wager this is a 2.5 star review rounded up to 3.
