Bought and installed 4 of these on my sliding doors. Still going strong after a few years. Works well and easy to use. Fit good and durable. Decent quality locking function.

Works well, easy to install. Spring loaded mechanism holds the shaft in the unlocked position, you push the shaft to engage the locked position, then you use the button to release. Latch plate has two positions for the shaft to lock into, allowing you to leave the sliding glass door open 2 1/2 inches if you choose to do so.

I installed it on a folding door that opens to the outside. It fit the bill. My application was different than normal and it worked fine. For all the ones that have complained that they shattered the glass,, that is own wrong doing and nothing to do with the product. Common sense dictates that if you are drilling into aluminum doors with glass, you place a stop join the drill bit in order not to get to the glass. The screws provided may not be the best and if you over torque them they will shatter, Had tighten works fine.

Works well. Easy to operate. I did not give it 5 stars however, because sometimes the locking mechanism doesn't engage right away (on the first push of the locking pin). When this happens, you have to move the door ever so slightly forwards or backwards to get the lock to engage. I'm thinking that if the slots on the catch plate were a tad larger the problem would go away. Not a deal breaker though. I still think it's a good product that works well.

This lock is functionally unique. I feel very secure with this lock. Easy to install.

This lock is genius!! Finally able to get rid of my wooden sticks. Easy to install, with a drill. Love the two options so you can complete close and lock or have slider door cracked open for fresh air! Love that I can you my foot to lock and unlock, no more bending.

I have a very old sliding door and cannot find the hardware to replace the lock. This was easy to install and has given me a greater sense of security (other than a chain) until I can afford to replace the whole door. Functionally good for the use decribed.

Original plastic version with the pin kept popping up on its own so I replaced it with this lock. The fit is a good replacement where the screw holes match up on the door but the metal bracket on the door frame needs a new screw hole which is no problem as the plate blocks the original screw hole. The locking mechanism is so much more solid and positive so you can easily see that it is locked or unlocked. The metal plate on the door frame is way better than original plastic one which was at the point of crumbling. Highly recommended!

Brilliant! Works so well. No more sticks in the door. Neat and tidy and strong. Simple install. Only complaint no instructions for installation or use. That's the reason 5 stars weren't given.

Bought this for extra security on our sliding glass doors. It was super easy to install in just a few minutes. Can just use a foot/toe to lock and unlock it. Works great! We rest easier knowing it provides an additional layer of security to our home.
