Great but small and not the best for programming in my opinion

All the power of a massive 90s keyboard in the space of a PC keyboard. The settings can be a bit of a pain to understand without an hour reading the online manual but that doesn't detract from the massive sounds.

There are some good sounds on here. Even without reading the manual it seems relatively easy to use. You have three different envelope generators, two LFOs, and three different filters (Band pass, high pass and low pass) as well as a lot of other features. When using the pitch course and pitch fine controls the sounds definitely sound digital and crunchy or rough if anything. You have got the tone palette sliders to choose between different sounds if you need to isolate a sound in a preset. Some of the presets contain a lot of white noise than I would like to hear but otherwise it seems good so far.

This is a little package that is functioning like the bigger and vastly more expensive original. But like the original, to get the best out of this module, you need all the tools like a sound editor…

Yes, it sounds great but the small form factor means poor user interface and many multiple button pushes. It doesn't support Sys Ex so no chance of an editor and you can't save individual patches to your computer so you can't cuurate your own bank of presets. There are also bugs in the parts/layers. Un oggetto da collezione, che nella sua preziosa compattezza racchiude tutti i suoni anni 90 dello storico sintetizzatore JD-800. Un pezzo cosi' ambito che appena distribuiti i primi pezzi e' andato a ruba, diventando "non disponibile" un po' ovunque. In questo devo ringraziare Amazon (sempre impeccabile) che non so con quale giravolta, e' riuscito a procurarne uno in zona Cesarini. Avevo fatto l'ordine al prezzo minimo garantito, ma al giorno della prevista consegna, il tracciamento non dava neppure l'avvenuta spedizione. Contattata l'assistenza Amazon, sono riusciti a trovarne uno da non so dove, e la consegna e' avvenuta con un lieve ritardo (ma c'e' stata, nonostante sia quasi impossibile trovarne uno ad oggi). Detto cio', all'apertura della confezione Amazon ho trovato l'elegante confezione Roland (che merita di essere conservata), con all'interno il modulo boutique, che mi si e' presentato perfino piu' piccolo di quanto immaginassi. In dotazione nessun alimentatore, ma semplicemente quattro batterie stilo, come dichiarato nelle specifiche Roland. In fretta e furia per l'entusiasmo, l'ho collegato al mio impianto, pilotandolo da una tastiera esterna passo normale, ed e' stata subito euforia. I timbri sono tutti di qualita' e rispecchiano la libreria storica dell'originale. Ovviamente essendo un modulo di dimensioni ridotte, i comandi per la gestione dello strumento (programmazione ecc) non sono 1:1 ma per molte cose bisogna passare da sotto menu', e saper interpretare le abbreviazioni dei parametri sul piccolo display a segmenti, ma questo e' il giusto sacrificio ripagato dalla compattezza dello strumento (lo posizioni ovunque) e dal prezzo ridotto di molto rispetto al sintetizzatore originale degli anni 90. Soddisfatto al 99% dello strumento, il restante 1% e' dovuto alla posizione della manopola del volume, che posta sul pannello posteriore e' davvero scomoda. Pero' stiamo parlando di un oggetto da collezione, che difficilmente uscira' dal mio set di strumenti, e siccome lo strumento perfetto non esiste, non esito a dare le 5 stelle ad uno dei piu' bei sintetizzatori della serie Boutique. Dopo aver perso l'occasione del D-05 ( versione del D-50) che era in limited edition (e mi mangio ancora le dita), non ho esitato ad ordinare il JD-08 con anticipo per riuscire ad averne uno. E ringrazio ancora Amazon che si e' prodigata per superare le difficolta' di consegna del produttore/distributore.

Es un dispositivo complicado. El manual no es lo suficientemente detallado. Suena muy bien y es un gran sintetizador.
