Wasserstein PoE Adapter Compatible with Wyze Cam V4/V3/V3 Pro, Wyze Cam Outdoor and Wyze Cam OG - Continuously Power Your Security Cam with USB Ethernet Adapter

Works great with our Wyze 4 Camera. Purpose of this is to have the ability to run your camera anywhere via POE without having to have Power outlet close. I have a POE switch in my basement closet, I ran Cat6 in my attic and hooked it up to this POE adapter, then ran the USB cord out the soffits. I electrical taped the Cat6 and USB ends just for weather proofing, but is works great. As for support for 2 camera, a Wyze camera is 1v, this POE adapter can handle 2v, I purchased a Micro USB Splitter and was able to power 2 camera off it with no issues.(Side note i did find another POE adapter (Search B0D9ZZPGYH in amazon) that goes to USB A female not Micro, then I used a USB A male to female Splitter, this was cheaper and easier as i just used the cords the Wyze cameras came with)

I was able to use my prewired house ethernet cables for internet cameras just to power the cams. I LOVE IT.

Item arrived DAMAGED in its box and is a piece of non-functional junk. Had to drive 23 miles to return to UPS to get a refund. Seller offered NO help and had nothing but excuses when messaged.

Used this to power my Wyze cam pan v3 on Poe. Worked great but for the pan v3 I had to do some modifications because it needs a right angle plug and this was straight.

The unit is compact and functional. I buried it in an electrical switch box enclosure. It would be slightly better if the power converter housing were 1/2" shorter. Also, a 90-degree micro USB connector option for the v3 pan and scan Wyze camera would be a nice addition.

I have installed two of these to V3 cameras via an existing POE enabled ethernet run and they work very well. As they are not water proof except for the end camera side cable, I mounted my POE adaptor in plastic LB 3/4 inch conduit box and it fitted perfectly while protecting the unit. For outdoors you need a weather tight plastic, or metal box that which is at least 4x4 inch or bigger to fit the ethernet cable and the length of the adaptor. NOTE: Despite the negative reviews, if you read the description, the V3 camera still need to be connected via WIFI. The ethernet connection has to be POE enabled and provides power only, not data, the WIFI does that part. My only concern with this unit is the temperature rating working outdoors.

This is my second purchase. It does the job as described.
