Okay, hear me out! I got my septum pierced two months ago and was using just regular old saline sprays. One that I purchased at the shop (which only lasted about two weeks on 2-3 cleanings a day) and neilmed wound wash. The reason I got the wound wash was because the other barely lasted and was expensive to buy consistently, whereas the wound wash was six dollars at Walmart and would last double the time frame. However, about a month into my healing I started to notice my nose ring getting stuck and no amount of the saline spray would help so the skin would end up ripping. Sorry tmi. Lol but also, my nose started to burn and sting like nobody’s business. Even just spring saline wash on it hurt so bad that I thought I either had an infection or I was going to get an infection. The little bumps started to form and looked like pus was becoming an issue, it just wasn’t looking good. So of course I run to Amazon to try to find a solution, and I’m glad I did! I will honestly never buy another piercing spray in my life. This stuff is THE stuff. I noticed from my very first spray instant relief! It’s also way easier to actually spray this in my nose than any other spray, which would just go up my nose and that’s a whole other situation. I’ve been using this spray for about a week and a half and I must say that my piercing already looks way more along in the healing process than it has this entire time. No more pain, no more dumps, no more dryness and getting stuck. One spray and my jewelry moves with no issues. No more skin ripping and getting stuck. I’m so glad I got this!! I also have extremely sensitive skin and this is just amazing. I highly recommend if you want your piercing to heal faster and the way it’s supposed to. It may also be a small bottle, but mine still feels full and I’ve been using it as recommended. I had read some comments in here about people being hesitant with the tea tree oil in this and I just got to tell you that your concerns are valid, but don’t be! Tea Tree oil is a natural antibacterial essential oil. My family has been using it for years to treat so many ailments so when I tell you that it’s trustworthy, it is. And seeing that in this product gave me more comfort because straight saline is only gonna do so much; all it’s doing is just rinsing your piercing out, which is great don’t get me wrong, but this is actually killing bacteria and helping the healing process along, not prolonging it. Get it! You will thank me and this product later!!

I just did a double helix about a week ago, they’ve been healing fine but they seemed to be irritated, I was cleaning with salt water at first and although they weren’t infected they just felt irritated & slight swelling started to happen, I know that’s normal while a helix is healing but I had a feeling my ear was also irritated by the salt water solution, I ordered this- in hopes it would ease my ears and it very much did, if I snag my ear or I feel my heartbeat in my ear, I spray this on and it helps tremendously, I’ve only had it a day and I’ve used it about 4 times, I let the area air dry, it has helped my swelling tremendously decreased overall redness and decreased crust build-up a ton, it also just feels nice on the ear, the sprayer is perfect, doesn’t spray too much or too little, super happy & so are my helix’s because they stopped throwing a fit, I inserted a before and after picture of using this. ( a day difference )

I really like this solution. I use it three times a day. Place a wash cloth behind my each ear and spray a few times. I started using this a few days after my latest piercing and the difference was amazing. Very good product.

I really like the spray. My piercing is about 4 months old and I noticed an irritation bump that I was concerned could become infected so I decided to switch back to saline from the unscented baby soap I’d been using. Within two days my piercing looked much better. After a week of use my irritation bump is nearly gone. Additionally, I don’t feel like I’ve made a dent in the bottle so I know it will last longer last saline spray I purchased. Delivery was almost smooth, I got the spray same day. Overall, great find!

This is a piercing after-care spray I will LIVE by for good. I first found it on Amazon with amazing reviews, and upon reading the ingredients on top of that I was sold. I use this liquid gold on my micro-dermal between my collar bones and my n!pples which are several weeks old. My right n!p was very irritated & started developing this weird yellow-ish ball of healing tissue on the exit hole. I did literally one overnight soak with this spray and some sterile pads I got from my piercer and it was 90% shrunken by THE NEXT MORNING!!! I was shocked. This stuff truly works. My last dermal rejected years ago , but I’m confident I won’t face that issue again as long as I keep using Base Laboratories.

Ich habe das Produkt gekauft für mein Conch- und Helixpiercing, welche sich immer wieder mal entzündet haben. Ich war auf der Suche nach einer Alternative für Octenisept - da man das ja nicht zu lange verwenden soll und bin auf dieses Produkt gestoßen. Anfangs konnte ich nicht viel sagen, ich bemerkte dass es bei der Anwendung nicht brennt und ein erfrischendes Gefühl auf der Haut hinterlässt. Nach einer Zeit (knapp 10 Tagen) merkte ich einen Rückgang der Schwellung und der Schmerzen. Nun verwende ich es regelmäßig zur Reinigung meiner Piercing und hatte seitdem keine Entzündungszeichen mehr. Ich bin sehr überzeugt und werde es definitiv wieder kaufen.

Short story: this stuff is the best and you should buy it. The attached photos are of my 2 two month old piercings in silver. And as a reference my 5 year old well healed conch piercing in gold. Long story: I got an anti-tragus & helix piercing in my right ear. I'd been using a NeilMed Piercing Aftercare Fine Mist in the AM & PM as directed by the gentleman who pierced my ear. After 2 weeks I was running pretty low, so I picked up NeilMed NeilCleanse Wound Wash thinking it would be similar. It wasn't, definitely more of an irrigation than a fine mist. I went through that stuff even faster. So I thought I'd try my luck with this sea salt spray from Base Labs, I liked that it came in a package of two so I likely wouldn't run out as quickly. Initially I was a little concerned about the additional ingredients. I wasn't sure how it would interact with my piercings because my ears are extremely sensitive. I can't wear anything that isn't hypoallergenic and my lobe piercings get infected randomly every few months. I received the salt spray 3 weeks after my piercings, and that day they were feeling particularly irritated. After several sprays and a few minutes the irritation went away. I’ve been using this stuff ever since. The Formula: As I mentioned earlier I was concerned about the additional ingredients, but I think they’re in really small quantities. Like there’s just enough to make a difference, but not so much that it overpowers the benefits of saline spray. Like once I, by accident, got some in my mouth and it just tasted like tears. The Bottle: I’d say if you have 2 piercings and you spray them each 4 times morning and night, one bottle should last you 3-4weeks. The spray isn’t a mist, nor is it an irrigation, somewhere in the middle that will help you soak your piercings well. I use this stuff like Frank’s Hot sauce, I put that s*** on everything. I spray both piercings in the AM & PM, and twice a week I spray several Q-tips to get at any build up and then spray my ear like crazy in an effort to irrigate. I use this stuff as an AM & PM facial spray, if I get a paper cut I use it before I resort to polysporin, literally anything skin related I try this stuff on it. So with very very high usage, I’ve gone through 1.5 bottles in 3 weeks. Final Thoughts: For my next piercings I will 100% be using this spray. I’m pretty confident It will work even better than pure saline spray on new piercings. I cannot recommend this product enough, especially if you’re like me and you find yourself constantly running out of piercing after-care spray.
