Extremely bright light - don't look directly at it. Thoughtful design.
I decided to get serious about non-mains lighting after Storm Arwen inflicted a storm, snow and a 27-hour power cut. What you need during a long period of mind-numbing cold (you really can't think straight) is VERY GOOD light to be able to carry on some kind of activity - the light this one gives is great. Having got this for future outages, plus probably camping outdoors come better weather, I don't know why I put up with the barely adequate temporary lights that I had available. Strange but the brighter the light the brighter you feel. There are three light modes. Don't look directly at the light, as you could damage your eyes as it's that bright. It comes with a choice of power methods which is handy. I inserted the two batteries that came with it and was able to use the light immediately. It also takes 4 x AA batteries so if you use rechargeable AA batteries that minimises the maintenance cost, and is the way to go (if you keep a supply of charged AA batteries) to keep you brightly lit for a long period.Thoughtful design - a built-in part that triples as a handle or a stand or something to hang it by, a USB charging cable, two batteries supplied or supply your own AA batteries. Robust casing, for indoor and outdoor use. Not too large, for easy portability. Three light modes including strobe for SOS. The casing is a bright colour to make it easier to find among heaps of stuff.

Good light
I found the light to be small but powerful, I used it in my loft and it gave off a good light which I could work by. This is splash proof But not waterproof the battery opening shows you that by having no protection around it, the front is well sealed, but Iām not working underwater so not bothered but I have taken a star off for them making the claim of waterproof. Overall a good little bright light . So far had no problem charging the batteries that came with it, so Iām very happy with it.Update.I had a small problem with the battery door where one of the plastic catches had come off . So I contacted the seller who was very helpful and apologetic. They sent me a new one without any problem, so fair play to them šš.

Bad weather, power failures imminent Edasion EU to the rescue
Power outage warnings all over the media due to stronger than usual wind so out come all the torches, lamps and candles, only to find we have no matches or lighters plus no batteries for some torches and others damaged beyond repair as I had left the batteries in them.Edasion EU to the rescue with a next working day delivery from Prime. There are a lot of similar lights all quoting the same output or giving so many different descriptions or names it became difficult to choose. I have to admit my final choice was on price and availability. What a good choice it was as they arrived the next afternoon and both had a full charge. I tested them, then placed them in a place where they would be easily accessed. This time without the batteries (once bitten, twice shy). Today I thoroughly tested their ability to light a room for when we needed them. I placed one on a sideboard unit facing upwards to a large mirror and took the photos attached to this review.Photo 1: The room was pretty dark with curtains drawn to remove most of the external light from giving me false readings.Photo 2: With the power on to its lowest setting the room was quite bright enough to make sure it was safe to move around and would be quite adequate to sit and read a self-lit book reader.Photo 3: This was adequate to be able to read a printed book while sitting in the sofa at the other end of the roomMovie: I just added this to show the emergency flashing mode and to test out my new camera at the same time. Having seen the end result I think I should now get a couple more for the car to use in emergencies as I am very pleased with them and I can't emphasize that looking at all the different measurements of output are too confusing and we have to rely on other people giving reviews to find the right deal. If you are looking for emergency lighting or lights for a dull area of a workshop or even the shed then you won't be disapointed with these.

Having two lamps rather than one larger one is useful.
Quick delivery after ordering. Handy to have two lamps. Working in my loft I was able to have one each either side of the working area or just one if that was all I needed. They are small bright lights so it is preferable they are pointed in the same direction you are looking to work, rather than across or towards you. Probably, if I had had hooks in my rafters it would have been preferable to hang the lights and have the beam coming down to the working area. However for the job I was doing, laying insulation, they were OK sat on floor boards. I have now used a silver pen to mark the lights '1' and '2' so I know which I have been using if I am only using one of them. This way I know light '2' if fully charged if '1' starts to dim.

Generic light that still does its job
There are like a dozen of sellers here with the same light sold under different brands, but it's all the same item. I ordered it from another seller before and had to return it because it didn't work. This time I was more lucky though.I absolutely isn't waterproof - rubber cover for charging port is just cosmetic. The battery cover doesn't have a rubber seal, for instance. The good thing is that it is still inexpensive and is bright enough for my garage, I probably won't even need a second one as I initially planned. Replaceable batteries and built-in charger are also a nice bonus.
