After cleaning of the original stain and adding a lot of Mineral Oil the Board is great and well maintainable. Had to cut down the Wood peaces that are covering the ends of the Handles, but hey its wood. Great value for the Price imo.

Solid board, decent size, looks pretty.

It split recently, after 10 months of mild use, and without ever being abused. I contacted Dalstrong, and they have ignored me entirely. After spending this kind of money, I had expected years of service, not months. I didn't really like the prominence of the Dalstrong logo all over it, especially now I've realised what a poor product it is they've produced.

Massive high spot as a chef with years of using cutting boards massive disappointment plus board dangerous as u can spin board right around so high spot is very noticable you would thing board would be levelled off .

Have used it for a couple of months. Good quality, a pleasure to use.

Once you get used to this in your corner. It works great. I love this piece and you will as well.

Good quality

A cutting board is one of those essential pieces that every kitchen needs. I, personally, choose to leave my cutting board out on my kitchen counter every day for convenience sake, so I really wanted something that not only performs well, but that compliments my kitchen decor as well. This handcrafted teak board has both the WOW factor that I was looking for esthetically as well as the functionality of a professional board that can hold up to daily use over a long period of time. The quality of the design and construction is very well thought out. This board will not warp, as it is almost 2” thick and it is made of a fibrous teak wood grain that runs in alternating directions. This is important because it helps to keep the board looking and feeling new with long term use as the fibers that make up that grain will spring back easily to help prevent gouge marks on the cutting surface. It has been proven that a wood board is also preferable when using high quality knives, as the wood fibers help to retain the sharp edges of those knives over time. Since my knives were a huge investment, this was one quality in a cutting board that was very important to me. The board has also been designed with two built in steel handles, allowing it to easily be transformed into the perfect serving tray for fruits, cheese and vegetables. It is also perfect for presenting and serving meats that you would want to carve table side such as ham, turkey, brisket, etc. The other part of it’s design that I really like is the curved cut-out on underside of the board. At first, I did not realize how handy this would be for taking whatever you have prepped on your board and transferring it to your stove top pans. That cut out allows you to quickly use your chef knife to move everything off the board straight into your pan without any spillage or mess onto your stove top. Anything that is designed to help keep kitchen messes to a minimum will get high marks from me. All in all, I definitely believe that you get everything that you pay for with this cutting board - high quality, beautiful esthetics to compliment your decor and a versatile piece that you can take from kitchen to table and always be proud of.

Love this amazing looking cutting board. Takes my kitchen to the next level. It’s such a conversation piece as everybody comments and asks about it. Craftsmanship and quality is what oozes out of this piece. Looking forward to stocking the kitchen with more Dalstrong accessories!
