YAMASAN KYOTO UJI Green tea Sencha Japanese 100% Natural Loose Leaf, All Blend in Kyoto, japanese tea 80g

In my experience nothing really beats Japanese grown green tea. Other sencha types found in the UK are normally grown elsewhere, don't taste the same and normally ends up quite yellow when in the cup. This tea is vivid green, mild, no bitterness. A little expensive but I let it go a long way.Pro tip - follow instructions. Ideal temp around 80C for pouring into teapot. Don't steep too long because that's when the bitterness can occur. Also fine for several uses in a day.

Smooth, pleasant aroma, and refreshing taste.Size 80g. vs 100g. ((I bought it on a whim for the first time since I didn’t know this tea. I decided to take a chance and try it.I didn’t notice when ordering that it comes in 80g packaging, while tea is usually sold in 50g or 100g packs. Because of that, I was a bit disappointed, as you tend to compare the price as if it were for 100g.That’s why Value for money 9/10However, the taste is excellent.I really liked it and can recommend it.

Nice package to try out the tea. Changes taste the longer the brew time.

I absolutely love this tea and you can get a good three/four cups out of the 4grams of tea leaves.

Pleasant but not “blow you away” flavour

This is a really great tea. The flavour is delicate and refreshing. It's perfect for those times when I don't fancy a normal cuppa with milk but still want something hot.

Great everyday sencha. Deserves 5-stars and not too expensive for the quality you get.

I absolutely love this tea. I personally mix this with Dandelion and a bit of mint to make a beautiful detox tea and tastes nice with the hint of mint. Would recommend, I feel it's made a difference to my energy levels.
