i picked up the anker outlet extender with usb wall charger to tame the jungle of cords on my nightstand and it made a world of difference. the compact block plugs into my existing socket and instantly gives me three extra outlets plus two usb ports. i love how the usb ports juice up my phone and tablet at full speed without heating up. the outlets are spaced perfectly so bulky adapters don’t crowd each other. flipping the power button on and off is simple and the soft glow ring helps me find it at night. the whole unit feels sturdy in my hand and hasn’t wiggled loose even with heavy plugs. setup was just plug and play with zero fuss. if you need more power points without a tangled mess this little extender delivers every time.

I ordered this to replace a power strip that stopped working that had been in the middle of things anyway. This seemed so much better as we didn’t have that much plugged into the strip.Alas, we lost the QA lottery and ours arrived without the hardware needed to mount it. I didn’t want to return it, just wanted the hardware, so I contacted Anker. They were extremely easy to work with, responding to emails within 6-12 hours, and just wanted a screenshot of my receipt. Then they quickly shipped out what turned out to be a whole new unit (defeating my attempt to not create more e-waste, but very kind nonetheless). They even followed up after a week or so to make sure I’d gotten my replacement and was satisfied. Fantastic customer service. I don’t think I’ve ever had an electronics company follow up on a warranty request like that. I’ve been happy with the power bank I’ve bought from them previously, but this sealed the deal that they’re worth buying from when possible. A company that stands by its products and supports its customers so well should be supported, especially when there are so many fly-by-night companies producing knock-off garbage.It’s only been a week or so, but the power strip installed easily once we had the proper hardware and it seems quite secure. So far so good!

I wanted the ones with the outlets pointing out the sides. They work better behind furniture. I could no longer find them. These work okay. But they stick out a little over an inch from the wall. Then add the plug depth. Cannot have the furniture too close to the wall.
