I've spent too much time and money trying to find a directed extra light source for my sewing machine - this little light does the job. Bright overhead lights just cast a shadow exactly where you need to be able to see the most. The extra desk lamps I tried just made a glare without lighting the specific area around the needle. Other options required attaching the light to the machine which I didn't want to do. This little light is perfect - I just lay it on the machine bed from the back of the machine to the right of the needle and no glare, it just lights up exactly where you're sewing for perfect seams. You can either plug it in the wall (wall plug supplied), or into your machine if you have a usb port (usb cord included). You can use the included velcro to attach to the machine if you like, and can place it anywhere - even hang it over the top of the machine to keep it off of the work space for quilting, etc. Highly recommend.

I was just about to return this little bright light because I couldn’t quite figure out how to position the light in regards to my sewing machine, but as I was ready to package up the light, I noticed the outside box showed how they positioned the light and , LOL, I figured it out and now it works great. The downside, it doesn’t have a long cord so I do have to use an extension cord for electric outlet. Also this light is an led light which means, it is extremely bright. You just need to find the correct position for it.

This is super bright and can be positioned easily. The flex arm is easy to move. The recharging cable is awesome and will hold a charge with bright light for more than 10 hours of sewing. This is a replacement for a previous one I bought over 6 years ago. I sew for a living and highly recommend this.

I am using this light to add visability to my sewing machine. Portable and rechargeable features are great to have since I have several sewing machines.

This light makes sewing so much easier to see. It came with a magnet to attach to machine but I needed a Velcro attachment. I contacted the seller and he sent me what I needed immediately!! I’m very pleased!!

Love this little light for my sewing machine. It twists easily so I can move it to wherever it works best while I’m sewing or quilting. Velcro sticks really well to machine/light - I remove it fairly often when I’m moving my machine around. Can highly recommend!

The LED light on my machine died for the second time. I didn’t want to pay for another repair. I checked out a lot of machine lights and this one comes closest to the original one on the machine. I can place the light right under the broken LED. Charges with a usb connector, there is a usb plug on my machine. No problem with this light. Works great. Only thing is I was sent one with a magnet and my machine is plastic. Send an email to the owner and I’m waiting for a piece of Velcro. Other wise I’ll get my own sticky piece. I had to duck tape mine to the machine for now.

This was the only sewing machine light I could find that attached t othe machine. Most are magnetic Sewing machines are plastic.
