How To Talk Finance: Getting to grips with the numbers in business
B**6
A must have for all business owners and directors
A great book for business owners or managers. If you need a guide that explains the balance sheets, profit and loss account and many other financial aspects of your business including strategy, budgets and forecast - this is the one! I have many business books but this one is far the best. It explains it in very simple terms (buying apples for £1) then builds on that to examine the financial details of multi million pound businesses. The book is engaging and can really help prepare for your meetings with investors, shareholders, board or your accountant. It's not for those studying accounting - this is not a 'how to' kind of book but the 'what does it all mean' - so it's management accounts. I will be dipping into this a lot.

Great book for non-finance managers
This is a great book - it is really clearly laid out and very easy to follow. There are lots of good examples and case studies and clearly defines and explains any technical terms and jargon

Full of typographical errors.
Very clearly written and easy to understand, but there are numerous charts where the numbers and labels are just flat out wrong which creates confusion. I trust the author knows what he's talking about, but I wouldn't trust him with my books. Only a couple examples of the latest chapter I read are attached below.
