Witcher books
When I found out that The Witcher nexflix series was also a book, I ran out and grabbed a copy of last wish. Unfortunately due to its poorly constructed writing, I couldnt make heads or tales of what I was reading. I was very lost and confused and gave up about half way thru. I decided to skip ahead to the core story line, which was honestly pretty great. Thats about the time all the books dropped in hard back, and I decided to replace the ones I had, and give last wish another try. I have to say that these newly constructed books are so much better. They break down the stories by story, and then into mini chapters, instead of mashing them all together like one giant run on scentence, which was an amazing relief. On top of the beautifully done new layout, the books also have amazing artwork from each of the stories that is really just breathtaking. The cover has a neat quote that tho out of context is still a nice touch, and change of pace. I would highly recommend these to anyone that is a fantasy reader, fan of the games, and just wants to know where and how it all started (I know I did), or if youre a fan of the show and want to know whats coming next. Honestly prefer these to the netflix series. These really are just all around stunning.

Great book
This is a greta book series. It was very well written and had great character development. It is deff. a solid fantasy novel series. You will not be disappointed. The book itself is a perfect-sized hardcover. The pictures inside the book are good, not great, but above average. Not a lot of illustrations - maybe 5-6 per book max. You could go with the un-illustrated series, and a lot cheaper.

slow paced at first but fantastic book
I recently got into The Witcher and it's a fantastic series. I will say that the first book is a bit slow to get into until the midpoint of the book. Nonetheless, some great stories and very different from any of the fantasy books I've read before. The chapters are very long which is something to get used to if you're more at ease with traditional structured books. As for the cosmetics, the illustrations are simply gorgeous. Despite the fact each illustration is done by a different artist, it is very cohesive (including the covers). The ones I own currently (the first 3) sit well on the shelf and have a perfect size (they're about the size of the Harry Potter hardbacks for reference.) Some people say the bindings came off from the book, however mine had no issues.

Cool kind of collector's edition for fans
I bought this because I am a giant fan of The Witcher series--books, video games, comics, and tv series. I've wanted hardcover edition of all the books for a while, but there was not very many options for me. Most were not in English and were expensive to boot. So this way a no brainer for me to get. I definitely like it. Stylized art style, with minimal colors. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that there are very few illustrations, I think its maybe 5 or less full page drawings for the whole book. I am a bit disappointed that there isn't more. It does have some stylized starts to each chapter with the first paragraph. There is some drawings on the very first pages of the book before the story begins. The hard covers also have character portraits printed on the inside of them. Overall, a must have for any Witcher fans. Just do not expect that many illustrations and not in much color either. Quality of the book is great overall too.

For the illustrated edition
Not going review the story cause if ur looking at this version you probably like the story (Which is great). But this hardcover is a great book. The illustrations are all pretty good the paper quality is nice and the text size is good. To many books text size is just to small but this book don't have that problem. Overall this is a great edition of this book so pick it up

Since I have already read the Witcher books I decided that it would be time to own a hardcover version of the stories. For that, the book is great, I like the illustrations but I consider them just a bonus. The packaging however left something to be desired. The book came just with a dustcover over it, which is the red Geralt that you see on the product page. The actual cover is kindof boring. But that's okay and that is the way other books are as well. Fine. But there isn't any plastic foil around the book, no extra layer of padding, just the cardboard Amazon Shipping envelope. And since the package just gets dropped through the mail box, well it's bound to get damaged.

I have been looking for a nice hardback edition from the Witcher series but I could only find paperbacks so far. When I finally got this one I was so excited as it is a very beautiful book with a nice illustrated dust jacket. On the hardcover there is a quote written all over with a nice red colour which has a bit metallic shine to it. This edition is illustrated, but I love that it only features a few illustrations scattered through the book, so it still gives a feeling of a more "serious novel." It also features a very reader friendly font which makes the pleasure of reading it even bigger.
