These were cute(2pack). They are little!!! Matches didn’t strike on the area designed for it, but included in box were pads that you stick on bottom to strike your match. Returned as the recipient thought they would be bigger. I would have kept.

These matchstick holders are a delightful addition to any space. The wide opening comfortably holds a good number of matches, perfectly accommodating your standard 2 to 2.5" matchsticks. While the base works with strike-anywhere matches, the included sticky-backed striker pads are a fantastic touch for the more common safety matches, especially since strike-anywhere matches are harder to find these days. The striker pads function perfectly, adding convenience and practicality. All in all, this set combines elegance and utility, keeping matches readily accessible in a beautiful display. Highly recommended!

Adorable, good quality product with thoughtful packaging. They came bubble wrapped and in cute customized burlap bags with an instruction card.

Super cute and visually pleasing but matches do not actually strike on the fine textured sides.

These match-striking jars look great and work really well. The glass is sturdy, and they make a nice touch for a bathroom. My only complaint is that I wish they came with a few more strike stickers, since they wear down faster than expected. Overall, still really happy with the purchase.

I purchase for a Waldorf elementary school and we use a lot of candles in our daily mealtimes and story times. Boxes of matches wear out quickly and don't look nearly as nice as this match striker for use by the teacher. Teachers have told me that the match really has to light on the first try to keep things moving in the classroom and that it can spoil the mood if the teacher has to try many times to light the candle for snack or story. The mood is lost. This darling and well made match striker seems to be something new. I searched high and low for something like this just a few years ago and now they are plentiful. But this one by Demi's Home is excellently crafted and a very good price. You get two per package, charmingly encased in burlap bags, with a gift magnet as a thank you. The matches stand up about a half inch above the lip of the striker. The glaze is done well and is a very natural pink which goes well with the decor of our Kindergarten and Nursery school classrooms. I do use strike anywhere matches, but the enclosed sandpaper discs (more than you need at 2 per striker) will work well with any other kind of match. Overall, I am thrilled to get such a cute, well designed item which was exactly what I needed. Please note that on the box it says made in PRC, so, China.

I have several different strikers, some as simple, others a bit more fancy. I was pleasantly surprised at how these arrived safely bundled in a box and individually stored in a drawstring bag. Both strikers arrived in great shape and are the perfect height for storing my strike-anywhere matches.

I do like these matchstick holders as the design and colour is neutral enough that it can match anything. I've been using the second one as a disposal container for used matches (I light candles almost every night). It does leave marks on the rough part of the container for the strike anywhere matches so make sure to strike in the same spot to not make it look so dirty. It DOES require strike anywhere matches in order to use the rough area of the container. However they give you a couple of striking patches to put on the bottom for everyday matches. My only issue is that I find it hard to strike at the bottom of the container when its filled with matches.
