After getting the first one for my mother, we bought another, and got one for myself and my sister. These are definitely a great addition to the kitchen sink area. Highly recommend. Only challenge is that there are enough that little ridges that it makes it more of a challenge to get the resulting grooves completely dry. And with that many ridges/grooves it is a little harder to clean. Hope they can make another with a several long ridges instead. Anyway, it is a great eco alternative to the ones that use plastic. The black ones are especially good-looking.

This mat is a nice size and thickness. One side has groves/ridges, and the other side is flat. You can use either side up or down. The grooved side is difficult to clean. The mat is easy to clean in hot soapy water, but it you cannot wipe dry the grooved side, so it develops ugly water spots. Also, if you use it with the grooved side up, you cannot just 'wipe' it clean. You cannot get the dishrag inside the groves. It's a pain. I keep the smooth side up, so I can just wipe it clean. It stays on the granite countertop next to the cooktop.

I have a new air fryer with a larger footprint than my older one, and I like to have a non-flammable trivet under any heat generating appliance when I use them. This is a great fit. The grooves may make it a little harder to keep clean, but that's a very minor issue. I love silicone trivets. When you don't need them, you can just roll 'em up and stash them in a tiny space.

I have a large 5.5 qt. air fryer and I bought this 18" x 16" silicone mat in black to set my air fryer on so I don't have issues with excessive heat to my countertop. It's working perfectly. Very pleased with this. I also purchased the set of 2 of the 12 x 9 inch ones in yellow to set my hot air fryer tray and basket on. This all got tested last night and it held up great. Very pleased with my purchase!
