If you're fresh into the hobby, then this more than likely isn't the cube for you. One of the biggest drawbacks for this cube is pretty much what everyone is saying: control. This is a cube that can really work well for you if you're already familiar with finger tricks and doing algorithms by muscle memory. It does flow incredibly smooth and it has a crisp set of clicks as the magnets lock on every turn that is (for me) very satisfying, however I can see how it could become annoying. The amount of customization you can do with the various magnets strengths, core magnets, and tension can be a treat. Though it can be a bit intimidating it is satisfying to get it tuned just how you like it. Ultimately though, is it worth the buy? It depends on what you're looking for. If you're just starting in the hobby and still becoming comfortable with handling a cube, then this likely isn't for you. It is lighter than any other cube I've used and I have accidentally launched it while turning. However, if you are more experienced and don't mind the (some would say way too expensive) price, then this might be a nice step up. Between the M11 pro and 12 M maglev I do have to say I do prefer the 12.

My 13 yo has recently gotten very interested in speed cubing. He has gotten his time down around 30 seconds with this cube. He’s a long way from a world record, but he’s having a great time with it. It moves very smoothly. Very nice magnets that keep it aligned.
