So much fun
Love this version of game. If you are familiar with the boro you will enjoy the game. They even created specific cards for community chest and chance that will make you laugh and enjoy a good game.

Could be better
Brooklyn Monopoly is poorly put together in some aspects don’t waste ur money right now. Maybe it will get better later . They didn’t even bother to make the chance and community chest cards look good. Too much money for it to be that way.

Not imagenative or Brooklyn-centric enough
Although I ordered this product late and the site said the earliest it could deliver was December 28, the game was delivered on Christmas eve! So I applaud the sellers for making such an effort. The game, itself, was a little disappointing. The game pieces for instance, were your standard pieces. Why couldn't they have been things reflective of what Brooklyn is known for? Such as pizza or the Coney Island roller coaster? The cards could have also included Brooklyn experiences such as Celebrate Brooklyn. But overall, as always, the game of Monopoly is still enjoyable, no matter what form it comes in.

Where is Old Brooklyn ???
I’m a Brooklyn native. This game is all New Brooklyn! No old Brooklyn or real neighborhood Brooklyn spots on the game which are now worth millions. Brownsville, Flatbush and East New York! Where are they?

No Brooklyn natives were consulted in the making of this game.
Brooklyn born and raised, I was so excited to learn of this version of Monopoly! And then I saw the board. Most of the sites shown feel as though they were selected from a Wikipedia List of "Locations in Brooklyn". Some do feel like they belong, but there are so many classic spots that should be here. Instead of the utilities, why not have the Verrazano and the Brooklyn bridges? There is very little consistency in the recognizability of places with relation to their placement on the board, and the choices themselves seem very arbitrary. Some are parks, some are streets, a couple are businesses... There are so many iconic and recognizable streets in Brooklyn! Then too, the subway stations is a wonderful idea, but where's Atlantic Avenue? Where is The Junction?I agree with the other reviewer who expressed disappointment about the tokens. I can appreciate the inclusion of the (in)famous Bodega Cats, but most of the rest of them, while I do love the traditional Monopoly tokens, don't quite fit. This could have been an epic celebration of an amazing city*.I do like the Brooklyn Bridge being on the bills, though. That's pretty on the money.*Brooklyn was an independent city until 1898, when it was incorporated into NYC. Unrelated, but LA stole our baseball team.
