The author does a great job of uses clear and simple descriptions of why SEO is important, the basics of why, as well as the strategy. The book also goes into the specific tools needed and how to execute, which was most helpful. However, I did not need the "how" portion of this book because I did not have a website yet (building now), but if you do have a website already built, this will be incredibly helpful. While the language is simple and clear, the grammar could use improvement to help with readability. Great guide.

Before I read this book I didn't even have a handle on what SEO stood for. I especially liked how the author described everything in simple terms from the beginning, walking the reader through the process and thus making it seem much less unsurmountable. There's much useful content for anyone wanting to build a website and draw more traffic to such. One hiccup was the grammar; it needed a proofing and suffers from some errors that had me rereading sentences to figure out meaning. Other than that a solid 5 stars.

I would highly recommend this book before you make a website as it talks about seo and what platform is best for it. When I made my first website I struggled with SEO, and still do, this book has really opened the doors to how to manage SEO on my own.
