Pros: It works and allows you to use so many aftermarket blades on many tool brands. Cons: It will disintegrate if you work it hard and get it hot. Needless to say I got this thing smoking hot working it hard for 20 minutes. Too hot to handle. Very inexpensive so get more than one and buy one for a friend.

I had an adapter for my Rockwell Sonicrafter to adapt to other brand blades which didn't work very well. This one has four raised bumps that are in the right place to engage slots in many of the other brands of blades. I have several Dremel brand blades and it holds those rock solid. Big improvement over my old adapter. EDIT: I am revising this review because after about 10 days of intermittent use the adapter broke in half while using it with the variable speed dial turned all the way up. It broke at the thinnest part of the ring, right where the raised bumps are. I don't know if I just got a bad adapter, or if this is indicative of the general quality of the product. I reduced the stars from 5 to 2 because the design idea is good. But an adapter that breaks when used is worthless.

Fit my tool. Initially seemed it did not but keep turning the bit and eventually found the right slot.

Looked like it is some type of 3d metal printed adapter definitely not equivalent to the original which lasted 10 years of intermittent use. Back to the drawing board to find another replacement.
