Sluban M38-B0687 Army Construction Set, Multi Colour

Honestly fun build besides the tracks lots of cool little details and stuff decent buy, just the tracks take forever to peice together and are of cruddy design.. potential was there but executed poorly all and all would buy more sluban products just maybe switch to rubber tracks not weak plastic links

This has 338 pieces, weighs 177g when made and seems to be a 1/35 scale piece inspired by the SU-85. Maybe it's a more recent tank destroyer I don't know about.It's easy to put together, perhaps too easy. Took me an hour and a half. The Quan Guan Marder III H by contrast took me over four hours for 603 pieces, which I thought was a bit too long. I reckon three hours and about 500 pieces with an alternate design provided in the manual is ideal.The tracks are a doddle to do, not nearly the worst out there. Do you think up to 20mins is bad for tracks? You have no idea what awaits in the scale model world.Personally I enjoyed more the Quan Guan model which was made out of more generic bricks, took longer and was a bigger 1/28 scale, but your child may not have the patience.I found this model only so-so and by the time your child reaches double digit age they should be looking for something more challenging.

Well made and looks good. Let down is the tracks. Whilst these plastic tracks look realistic, they are not robust to meet the needs of a child playing and come apart too easily. Therefore, this item is more for decoration than playing. Sluban should have chosen rubber tracks!
