Solidly built, very good lens quality. Can even see the numbers of a sign 800 meters away.

This telescope is great. I bought it for grandkids (age 8- 12) to use in their “pirate ship.” I wanted something more than a toy, but not a professional scope - as it might get dropped, etc. First, I was impressed that it works so well. I could see features on a jet distinctly - though at least a mile away. And, it truly is “monocular” - meaning the image is right side up. Traditional “pirate type” scopes invert the image - a by-product of using only two lenses. This scope has the addition lens to correct the image. Only problem user will have is that, like all handheld strong scopes, the image “shakes.” Difficult to steady, unless you rest on post, etc. For us, this scope is perfect. Looks very “piratey” but kids will be able to see distant birds, squirrels, or Spanish treasure ships.

Glass lenses, well made body. For the price one may get the idea this is a toy. It is not. Images are clear, sharp, and bright. Not at all cheap plastic junk. Performs well above it's cost.

On this past day of the Lord, nature herself blew her kisses across the lake, beckoning this sailor to come hither. Despite the frothing warnings her affection’s divine strength on the whitecaps of the waves, I embarked on my vessel, Princess Unicorn’s Revenge, to answer her beckons. Immediately embattled with the force of nature’s embrace, I harnessed my legs to the Princess, clutching her till and main sheet. With all my strength and will, I fought the winds and kept the Princess upright. For hours, it seemed, I was locked in struggle against nature’s mighty exhale, straining every tendon in my aging body. And just when I thought I had won, when I had pointed the Princess back to port, a mighty gust toppled her and threw this sailor into the chilly bite of the dark waters below. With but a finger on her shrouds, I pulled my Princess back into an embrace, and hefted my weight to right her, and with the last ounce of my energy, pulled myself back up onto her trampoline, sopping wet with icy waters. Victory was mine. After I came ashore, my wench-wife, with cheeks drenched in tears, bemoaned her eyesight, having thought she lost her love, this sailor, to nature’s wrath. So I bought her this telescope to see me next time. 10/10
