The Bee Gees. 😎⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️WOW!
They were not a favorite group of mine growing up during the British Invasion of 1960s RnR, but it’s a closer look at the artists for what their true genius was as a group and a family, and how that was the glue that kept them together, each others love and concern. It’s a fabulous story from their parents to Barry’s life today in America. I sang every song as we watched, they were plagued by media as a“Disco Band”, THEY WERE NOT! See this film and learn the true story of who these artists the Brothers Gibb were then, and how Barry and Family maintain the legacy. They’re voices together were like one. The effect on me as the fan was angelic to listen to, you will learn the truth of who this loving family these great artists The Bee Gees became and continued to succeeded.I totally recommend it to all those who appreciate good pop music, and tight harmony. Also the other FAMOUS artists they wrote # 1 songs for, that’s right, you won’t believe it! Fans got the wrong impression when they did a few songs for a movie that was a smash hit around the world, they were type cast to the public as a disco band and it had its downside, but they endured and overcame the stigma.I truly hope you get to enjoy this documentary a beautiful gifted family, through loss and renewal in a trying and difficult industry.

Very informative
When I got my very first cassette tape player, Saturday Night Fever was the first cassette I ever bought! Back then I was not a super-duper Bee Gees fan but I just liked the songs from the movie. Fast forward to the 21st century and now I have learned how talented the Gibb brothers were and what a great impact they made in the music industry. I have their music now playing in my car from a memory stick. Times have changed but the music lives on. Thank you Andy, Maurice, Robin and Barry for all the wonderful music you have given to the world.

I love the Bee Gees and didn't know it until watching this documentary
I was in 6th grade when Jive Talkin exploded on the scene. My first memory of hearing that song was at a roller skating rink in a close suburb of Washington DC. People, mostly adults of all colors and patterns, were racing around the rink having a blast skating to that song. I was just a little girl on the sidelines with my eyes popping out watching the energy in the rink. Skip to my sophomore year of high school when Saturday Night Fever came out. It was a must see, and considered very risque for someone my age to see. I think we had to sneak behind our parents' backs to see it. The greedy music industry of that time exploited their music just as described in the documentary, which turned a lot of people of my generation off to it. Their music was over played to the point of driving radio listeners insane and then came the just plain stupid manufactured 'Disco' crap that was no fault of The Bee Gees. I can only imagine how the DJs must have been enraged by this; having no say in the greedy music mismanagement exploitation. I was on the anti-disco train by the time I was a junior in high school and celebrated when punk bands like Devo, The Cars, Talking Heads....etc. starting taking over the radio play time. By the 90s though, there was no denying how great and lasting the Bee Gees music is and I had to admit that it was/is damn good!! Thank you for telling this enlightening true story about these very talented and genuine brothers. I needed to hear their story in order to make sense of the Bee Gee era that spanned decades.

Excellent Bee Gees Documentary
This is a very thoroughly researched and carefully produced documentary that is well worth your time if you are a Bee Gees fan from any era. It covers some of the same ground as earlier documentaries (of which there are quite a few), but this is a mature production and includes some new angles not previously covered. I saw photos and footage that I had not seen elsewhere. The filmmakers recorded interviews with fellow artists, such as Eric Clapton and Justin Timberlake, and with the widows of Maurice and Robin Gibb. They also located some of the backing band members, original producers and sound engineers involved in the making of Bee Gees albums and shows. Another strength of this film is the artful editing of previous interview footage with Maurice (died 2003) and Robin (died 2012) along with current interviews of Barry. One flaw was what I believe was overemphasis on the anti-disco event in Chicago where records were destroyed in an explosion (flashy but not all that relevant). Also, I wish there had been more emphasis on some of the Bee Gees later work, such as the tracks "Closer than Close" (on the Still Water album released 1997) and "This is Where I Came In" on the album of the same name released in 2001. These two tracks are among my favorites of the entire Bee Gees body of work. The brothers remained vital creative forces and in good voice during that time period. In addition, Barry Gibb has been writing and performing new material since Robin's death in 2012. Barry has taken some serious strides in the direction of country music recently, and has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry. Overall, however, this documentary is highly recommended.
