Great chalk.
Thin lines are the best lines for me. I do fine work, so this chalk works perfectly. I work mostly with dark-colored synthetic materials. This leave a nice crisp line with no mess.

Works good
I wasn't sure whether to order the chalk line dye or the micro powder. I went with the dye and a co-worker went with the micro powder. I really can't tell any difference between the two, except the micro powder is a lighter blue and seems slightly easier to see. They both seem to have the ability to wipe off surfaces just as easily, so I really don't know what the difference is. But I do like this dye, it snaps a pretty decent line.

Love it
I am a carpenter and roofer and use a chalk line almost every day. I used to use the red or blue chalk with a Johnson chalk box. I also used the Milwaukee chalk box. Then I purchased the Tajima chalk box. What a difference. I used my first one with blue chalk and liked it so much I bought another and bought the black chalk with it. I love it and everyone I work with like the color. I use it with the Tajima ultra thin line and when you snap the line it looks like you used a pencil to draw a line. Now the black doesn't show up real good on felt paper or ice and water shield but when you are doing layouts for just about anything else it is great.Love the black and will use that as my primary color from now on. Glad I tried it.

Best “chalk”
I use my chalk box almost everyday. I have their chalk box as well and it’s the best I’ve used ( I’ve tried almost all) the chalk is a die and it is amazing to use and easy to see even in wet areas.
