A Conversation Piece
Yesterday my mother-in-law commented that she didn't realize we had an old typewriter! She had to take off her glasses and look closely to know why we chuckled!This stunning collector's piece is worth it to go over every Lego master's suggested budget of 10cents/piece. It's a work of art.

Intricate and interactive
This lego set is extremely intricate and detailed in the building process. I think it took me 6-8 hours in total to build, but it was an absolute joy to build and see finished. You can't actually type with this, but it has to mechanics to make it seem like it's fully functional.

Wonderful Set, Box Arrived Mashed Up
If you are a fan of Lego, and you like the aesthetic of a vintage typewriter then this kit will highly satisfy your building urge. I bought this as a gift so I was disappointed when the box arrived crumpled because whomever packaged it up at the shipping facility skipped the interior padding and the box came downright ugly. I should have included gift instructions, but I have found that not every seller offers that, and it can also slow up an order, -which is usually the opposite goal when it comes to gifts. Ultimately I returned it and found another kit from a different retailer.

Challenging Lego set. I bought this for someone who is used to doing Lego sets. This took them a little longer and they enjoyed it immensely.

Amazing!
This is an amazing kit! My son and I bought it for a friend with a typewriter collection and she FLIPPED over it! The construction is complicated, but the directions are well detailed, just like any Lego project, and quite simple if you go slowly. It is extremely cleverly designed. It does NOT actually type - but when you press the keys, the carriage moves and it give a satisfactory typewriter thump. As you can see from the photo, they have really captured the essence of an old typewriter. We loved putting it together as much as my friend loved the addition to her collection! Pricey, but a real looker!
