This lamp started as a 1/2 gallon authentic mason jar. The jar is a grey color and the shade is a complimentary teal and tan. This lamp stands approximately 17" tall with shade. I have painted, distressed and sealed the jar for added protection. Clean with a dry soft cloth. I recommend a 40 watt bulb. Simply plug your lamp in when it arrives and enjoy.
