Good low growl but not very loud.
I have used universal Magnaflow mufflers for years on over 10+ different cars. This in was on a Volvo C30 5cyl turbo. Very mild upgrade. Noticeable over stock but will not turn any heads. I also deleted the mid pipe resonator. I hope it gets a little louder once I replace it with a catless downpipe. It has gotten about maybe 3-5% louder after a few days of driving after install. I don’t really like super loud straight pipe cars….. but this application could have been a touch louder and more aggressive for sure. Some OEM sports cars come with a louder exhaust.

Magnaflow Muffler to '99 Firebird
High quality product. I have 2 similar mufflers on our '51 hot rod p-up too and they all sound and look great.

If you are looking to change the tone a little then this works great for that
When I purchase this muffler I knew it would be very quiet and that is what I was looking for. So if you are looking something loud this is not for you. If you are looking to change the tone a little then this works great for that. I would recommend if you have a resonator to have it removed this will give you a little more tone. I put it on a six cylinder that I take on long trips. I have no drone at any speed and it is quiet enough I can talk normal to my passengers. If you areLooking for a loud muffler this style I would suggest Flowmaster 80 series.
