Best fly trap ever.
This might be the best fly trap in the world. I used to get the reusable ones but honestly, they’re such a pain in the butt to clean that I decided to switch to the disposable one. Within the first hour, it had already attracted hundreds of flies. Two weeks later it is still working fantastically. It is so big there have got to be thousands of flies at this point. It stormed the last couple of days and as you can see from the picture, no additional water has gotten into the bag and flies are still swarming it. I have about 15 yards from my trashcan and back door. This is the best thing ever, and I will continue to order them in the summer months.Literally, my only warning and this should be common sense, but it does stink, so don’t put it too close to your patio area or anywhere where you’re going to be spending time

This product works and is easy to use.
Purchase the big bag, because it will fill fast. I am buying 2 bags at a time. We live in a residential area. I purchased this to be able to enjoy our backyard. Despite our care at picking up dog waste and any other organic debris, flies and mosquitoes are a constant nuisance. I put this in the back far corner of my yard away from sitting areas because of reviews suggestive of smell and the instructions of the product. My SO taunted me that it wasn’t working. Within 24 hours flies were inside the bag, within 48 hours, flies are fighting to get in the bag, within 72 hours, no flies in the sitting areas of the patio, even if I am eating food. There is no detectable aroma from the product except with mild wind. Combined with the Knight Spartan mosquito attractant, I can sit outside for morning coffee and in the evening for the nightcap without being buzzed to insanity or consumed to death. This fly attractant (as the mosquito one) are economical and they work. Both are made in the USA. This product works, use it according to the very clear, easy to follow instructions. When disposing these bags DO NOT DROP OR SPILL! As other reviewers have said the smell is horrendous and does not wash off easily. I dropped my first bag and the bottom broke on the grass. Every fly in the world arrived! Even washing it down with water and soap did not abate the smell. I now double trash bag it where it is hanging and then carefully place it in the bags, tying off the top of both bags. I wait until trash pick up days to place in the garbage can.

Concurrently Wonderful and Disgusting
I knew I had a fly problem on my land. I had no idea every fly in the county lived here. At least that's how it looks since I got two of these fly traps. I put them on my property at 1PM yesterday and by noon today, the thing was brimming with flies, half of them dead, the other half fighting to drown themselves ASAP. And there is also a perpetual crowd of Fly Applicants, waiting outside the bag, begging for the "lucky" opportunity to get in there with the rest. I had no idea flies were this suicidal, no kidding. The bag full of flies looks like a bad horror movie.I almost gave this thing 4 stars because the thing stinks so badly. I mean it really stinks. But then I realized, it almost has to stink to attract flies, when you consider the normal fare of flies.May I warn you all not to fill it up with the water till AFTER you hang it, as spillage smells like death. It took all day for the smell to wear off my hand, even with many washes. I am serious when I tell you that this bag, when mixed with water, smells very much like Death. And that's BEFORE the flies get there. I had to spray my sneaker with fabreze just to make it bearable to be near. The smell of this stuff is that disgusting. However, if you have ever been harassed by flies, then you know what I mean when I say that the smell is STILL worth it.I don't think the two bags I bought will last through the week, they are capturing that many flies. Considering how disgusting it is, I am not looking forward to disposing of those bags. Yet, even still, it's worth it. Thus, the Title of my review: Concurrently disgusting and wonderful. At this point in the process, I try not to get too close, not only because of the smell, but because I keep thinking of that movie, The Fly -- and am afraid I will come face to face with one of those buggers and hear him yelling in a little fly voice: Help Me! Hellllppp Meee! But now that I am already classified as a mass fly murderer, I am on my way to buy two more of these bags to ensure that no descendents survive to seek revenge upon me.Given a choice, I would much prefer a product that makes flies go off and die quietly out of my sight, preferably on somebody else's land. But barring that possibility and for the sake of speed, if you've got flies and need to disposition them quickly, you need to get this bag.
