Great resource to have in your library if you work with children!
The step-by-step exercises are accompanied by kid-friendly, simple illustrations that are easy to understand and implement. As a special education resource teacher, I implement these exercises into student routines to help them get their mind and bodies ready to learn while having fun in the process. A symptom and behavior checklist is provided as well as tracking charts, which helps me track student progress. As a parent, I also enjoy doing these exercises with my children, at home and at the park because there are so many options to choose from and they take about as little as 5 minutes to do. I can vary the activity depending on my kid's energy level and attention span. A great resource to have in your library if you work with kids!

Must read for anyone practicing reflex integration
Very clear and concise. The illustrations are great. Waiting for more books on other reflexes. Must be part of every therapists library. Thank you Kokeb!

Interesting read
This book was very interesting and as a pediatrician I see the importance of needing books like this. PT and OT, as well as early intervention services should all be looking at this series.

A MUST Purchase for any OT, or family with ADHD, Autism, or Ocular Disfunction.
Recently, my daughter was diagnosed with unintegrated primitive reflexes that cause her ocular and binocular dysfunction. We opted for home therapy options through an organization that provides video training for parents to do therapy at home with their kids. To supplement this program, I purchased these books and I was surprised and delighted by their thorough, easy to understand and implement explanations. The author is gentle, yet explains things to you in a competent way. The books are meant for therapists, but I found them to be easy to read and understand. The author, Kokeb McDonald, is writing more books on other primitive reflexes, so I am excited to buy the next editions.I highly recommend these books for families with ADHD, Autism, and Ocular Dysfunction as well. I am doing these exercises with my Autistic son and ADHD daughter, and I am seeing great results. It is basically Occupational Therapy at home. A lot of executive functioning issues are rooted in unintegrated primitive reflexes.

Very helpful
We've been using Kokab's books for a few years now. She's worked with my son and we've made sure to buy every book she's written because they're full of so much great information and content. We recommend this book and all her others, a thousand times over!

Therapist Approved!
Thank you for creating this book (I plan to read the rest, too!). I too am an OTR that is MNRI trained. I see the value of this book and the ease with which it is written for families and teachers to use with their children. I am not sure how I stumbled upon this book on Amazon but will be purchasing them all. Well done! As a private OT clinic owner/practitioner, I respect the time, dedication, clinical experience, and level of accuracy you have put into this book. I can tell it is a labor of love and I am grateful for your contributions toward Occupational Therapy and for sharing your gift with the world! This is good stuff!
