Lots of bang for your buck
Toy came with a lot more than what I was expecting. I was just looking for a large toy helicopter for my son. I wasn't paying attention to the details on description and when we opened it up I was surprised with all the features. Both main and tail rotor can be powered operated, basket has a power lever on the side that lowers and raises, 2 buttons on the right emit running engine sound and siren, then on the left side down low there is a switch that powers the search light up front. All together for what I paid it's totally worth the price. It was my 4 yr olds favorite gift

Grandson Loves It!
Bought this for my 3 year old (helicopter obsessed) grandson and he loves it! Everything about it is cool and very realistic, I love how the main rotor and tail rotor both turn in unison just like a real copter. The spotlight is bright and can be moved all around. The cockpit doors both open and there is a storage compartment in the back. The only caveat I can mention is the tail rotor, every kid that comes over (regardless of age) wants to stop it from turning and that damages the weak plastic gear that drives it. Now there is a flat spot on the ring gear and the tail rotor now stops all the time and has to be turned to get it going again. Might I suggest using more robust gears there and incorporating a slip-clutch on the driveshaft to the tail rotor? Other than that one issue it is a great toy for a rambunctious little boy!

Toy helicopter of your child's dreams - the best
This thing is HUGE and full of features. It was the "big" present for our three year old at Christmas this year and he is sure to play with this thing for years to come. Incidentally, the cockpit doors open and you can fit standard action figures in there. I guess I should clarify that this thing doesn't actually fly, but the blades rotate and it has lights and sounds. And the blades have a break away feature for safety, which we loved because our one year old who is attracted to her brother's toys won't lose any fingers. Trust me - we've thoroughly tested this thing.Update: Three years later and still going strong for the 6.5 year old! This is still an all-time favorite. It's big so we stick it in the top shelf of the closet and bring it down upon request. The cockpit fits standard action figures (~6"); Spider-Man and a few army guys have had adventures in there. Our now-three-year-old little sister loves it as much as big brother.

Bigger than I thought it would be
The media could not be loaded. I wanted a new toy to occupy my son so I could get some time to relax and read. This was the perfect toy for that. He’s enamored, loves that the rear tail rotor and the propellers both move, has been playing with it all afternoon while I’ve had a chance to catch up on reading.Warning: the two blades in the box didn’t pop in very easily, it was almost as if the hole was a smidgen too tight, so I pushed in the bar of a small screw driver so that they would snap in more easily and that helped.

Doesn’t fly !
What the description doesn’t tell you is that it doesn’t fly. The children had asked for a helicopter. The write up shows it in the air. I took it for granted it would fly, after all it’s a helicopter. Very deceptive. The blades twirl, it lights up and sits there…..

Large Helicopter for Kids Playtime
This helicopter is so realistic. The blades on the top and in the tail rotate with the flip of a switch. It has a hook on the side that raises and lowers with an included basket for pretend rescue missions. Also, there are lights and sounds that are appropriate for the toy. It is a rather large helicopter at 24 inches from nose to tail so definitely would not recommend this for small children as our 3 year old son really can't carry it around easily.
