Next Level Racing F-GT Elite Keyboard and Mouse Tray Carbon Grey (NLR-E010) - PC

I mounted the mouse plate to my shift bracket and put the keyboard in a different location. Works great!

Make sure you know the model of your Next level rig. This mount was intended for F-GT Elite. But if you are not afraid doing some minor mod than this might be right for you GT Track rig. You have to adjust the first bracket before attaching to the frame of your rig. I used a dremel to enlarge opening. Other than the mod this is excellent!!

Amazing build quality. If you are sitting in the sim rig and want to type using your keyboard, keep in mind that the keyboard tray sits just above the mouse tray.

I love Next Level Racing. I've dropped around $4500 in gear from them (motion platform, GT Track cockpit) and just assumed that this worked for the GT Track and hadn't really noticed that it was for Elite series only. The question we all must ask of course is why? Why should we have to get a Dremel and make crazy mods for this just so it will work when NLR could've and should've added the one extra piece to make this work. We can only guess that some marketing reject thought it would enhance the sales for the Elite Chassis but honestly it just feels like a kick in the teeth to people like me who spend thousands of dollars on their products but oops - should've spent more. Really sucks. I'll make the mod myself and thanks to the guy who wrote the review that documented it but as I said in my title - at the moment it looks great on my floor.

I have a next level F-GT Elite rig, I've been in search of the perfect keyboard/mouse and thet all seem to fall short.This is designed for the F-GT Elite so I though it would be a slam dunk. It fits on the wheel base uprights and supposed to swivel into place. Two issue;It can not truly swivel the full 90 degrees to the uprights as the bracket hits the bolt head, had they made the bracket a 1/4 inch longer stems, it would have cleared and not got caught on the bolt head.The mouse tray attaches to the bottom of the 40/40, meaning you have to have the arm high enough to clear the mouse tray from hitting your legs, but then the keyboard is to high.The arm does not swing in enough to make it workable, and the as a another reviewer stated the bolt holes are too big that causes excessive play.I have Next Level Racing Elite Tablet/Button Box Mount Add-On, which is basically the same thing, except it as a keyboard and mouse tray rather than the tablet holder. The 40/40 is a little longer on the keyboard mount and is the nice matching carbon gray of the F-GT Elite. The huge difference is the Next Level Racing Elite Tablet/Button Box Mount Add-On come with two 40/40 aluminum lengths and extra connectors to make an articulating arm, giving more range of movement. This could do with the same.Ultimately I package everything back up carefully check there were no marks and all nuts and bolts back in the correct labeled bags and returned.In my quest I also have the Next Level Racing Free Standing Keyboard and Mouse Tray, this does not work, this is designed for sim drivers with shifter and hand breaks on the left. Ultimately I will use the keyboard tray of this and buy the Track Racer mouse mount for the mouse.

The media could not be loaded. All of the material top notch. However, it seems like the holes in the extruded aluminum (step 4) are too large. This creates a ouch space for the other end of the tray to move up and down by almost an inch causing it to droop and not be level.I have never seen the method used on “8020” before, and I wonder if this is why.I am currently considering returning the item.
