Blue Sea Systems 4138 WeatherDeck Toggle Switch Boot, Black

The switches are exactly what I needed for a replacement of switches on my boat electrical panel.

I used this switch for a remote on and off switch for an amplifier on my boat. Works flawlessly and easy to install. It's in the elements all the time so it being waterproof is definitely a plus.

I have been through countless good quality parts store switches with lifetime warranties. The local parts guys have never refused to replace one free of charge, but replacing switches on a regular basis is a hassle and, quite frankly, many times you don't know it's busted until you turn it on and it fails to light. Even though my light switches on the ol' tractor weren't "in the elements" directly, I decided that the failure had to be seepage related and decided to try one of these. I have not has a failure on the original switch, while I have been through two of the old style during the course of my experiment. To me that's proof enough. These switches and boots are not the cheapest, but they are well-made and hold up. Worth the price. Make sure you order the switch with the boot. They DO NOT come as a set!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great toggle switch. Heavy duty and water proof

I bought this thinking it was the entire switch.... it isn't and I ordered 4 of them (DOH!)Be sure to buy the switch with the boot. It made sense after receiving the item and looking at the photo. Oh well. They appear to be of good quality. We'll see when I get my switches in. ;)

Package arrived on time.

Doesn't fall apart or tear when you tighten it up. Fits snug, looks good.

Fits just right, but a bit difficult to finagle onto the switch. Either way, an essential part of a boat switch. Don't skip this step.
